This cozy and cute B&B is in the center of Harpers Ferry and was an absolute joy to stay in. We had a lovely time in the New Room. Chris and his family were great and went above and beyond, would highly recommend staying here!

Very clean and cute b&b right in the lower town of Harpers Ferry, exactly where you want to be for local sightseeing! Chris is very responsive, helpful, and friendly, we really enjoyed sharing breakfast with him and other guests! The Stonehouse suite is perfect for 2, very comfortable and spacious with a private entrance and enough room to hang out in a private space. Bathroom is clean and spacious as well, soaps and towels provided. King bed is very comfortable (perfect firmness) with nice pillows. The parking spot that comes with the room is clutch as parking in the area is a nightmare. We left a personal item behind and Chris was kind enough to hold it for us until we could return! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

this store has everything in it, from souvenirs to candies. the older gentleman who runs this store is by far one of the kindest people you will ever meet. we were about several dollars short of our total, and he only charged us the amount of money we had to offer. it was a generous act of kindness that me and my boyfriend are very grateful for. we definitely will be coming back soon when we come to town again!!

My boyfriend and I came in here when we were touring around harpers ferry for the day, and what a delight it was! The store is filled with a whole bunch of unique gifts and charming antiques. I also had the most lovely conversation with the shop owner, a kind older man who shared a lot about his life and how the store came to be. We didn’t realize that it was a cash only store at first, so when I didn’t have enough funds to meet the total, the owner graciously took what we had and let us off the hook for the rest. It was an act of kindness that I will never forget, and although I didn’t catch the owners name, he made our day with this wonderful interaction. Thank you so much and we hope to be back soon!

A charming inn perfectly located in the heart of the historic area. Scenic strolls are right around the corner and restaurants are available along the street; once you have parked around back you can settle in and relax and explore. The old house is beautifully and imaginatively restored. Each room has its own character. Mine, on the top floor, had a marvelous view of trains, cliffs and river. The hosts maintain a good balance, allowing privacy but available to answer questions and provide a pleasant breakfast.

This was my first time at a true B&B, but Chris and his wife were phenomenal! The house is so cute and decorated well and Chris came each morning to make us breakfast. Ask him about his French toast - it's absolutely amazing! Chris was so nice and patient with my boyfriend and I with our questions and he was so personable! We came in the dead of winter and honestly had such a great time. We had plenty of heat and never even felt the cold or snow!

There were a decent number of cheap tourist trinkets with Confederate flags printed or stitched onto them. I asked the owner why she would sell such items and got a condescending explanation about how the Confederate flag is part of Civil War history and Harper's Ferry is a historical Civil War site. That may be ma'am, but that doesn't mean you need to sell a symbol of white supremacy emblazoned on an ugly hat. Before anyone starts screaming about Southern heritage, I am a descendant of at least one Confederate soldier and I would gladly strip my family of that shame if I could. It's too bad about the racist merchandise, for I would have bought an antique Japanese tea set if the whole store hadn't felt morally compromised.
