Wonderful library! Great children's programs! it's easy to reserve books online and pick them up at the library. Very glad to have this library in our area.

Seems like it has the potential to be a decent library if the second floor is complete and open to the public one day. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.
The problem is there is nowhere dedicated to allow those of us studying for serious tests to do so. I am currently studying for the auditing and attestation portion of the CPA exam, which most consider to be harder than the Bar Exam and had a sub-42% pass rate last quarter. This issue is compounded with Martinsburg and Inwood being closed, meaning there is essentially nowhere in the county to study. While the staff have done their best in trying to find me a place, I am sometimes sent to the kids section as the adult side has been taken over by large/loud groups throwing some event.
I just wish there was a decent place to study in the Eastern Panhandle for those of us that can't study at home. The future generation of physicians, attorneys, CPAs, and engineers in the state aren't given a lot of support in this area, and the libraries seem to prefer girl scout troops or sewing classes to those of us trying to become learned professionals.

Cozy small town library. The women who work there are wonderful and I love chatting with them about various books. Not a huge selection at this location, however, the inter-library borrowing program is wonderful and super easy to use.

It is cozy and the librarians are super helpful. I ordered some books and they were available for me to check out faster than I thought they would be and that was nice.

If you do not like big public libraries then Hedgesville Public Library is the place for you! It is an awesome place to go and read or do your online work. You MUST have a Berkeley county librabry card to have access to anything, so even if you are not an avid librarian, it does not matter. It only takes a couple seconds of your time to sign up, be given a library card, and do what you need to do.The environment is comforting and relaxing. The ladies are extremely helpful and very social. ☺ They have a amazing selections of movies and books. The building is clean and kept up with every week. If you need Wi-Fi/computer access for work, school, or anything in general then stop on in after 10am. They have high speed internet for free, will help you with anything, and even assist you with online guidance when stuck or froze. They host all kinds of amazing programs for kids, tweens, teens, and adults as well as fun crafting for kids and adults. They also host book reading groups for clubs/friends/family.So stop on in and support the public library! Bring your family and friends for fun programs! My heart ached after last week's mishap and am beyond happy I was confronted today about my nasty but honest review. I only wish I would have said something that day in that moment. I am happy to be returning every week for the rest of my college lessons.
