Just spent 4 days at the most amazing Inn. Room was amazing with an amazing comfortable beds. If you enjoy peace and serenity this is the place to go. Owners are amazing and very helpful. Hinton was great small town with alot to do. Will definitely be back for a return visit.

Our room was very clean. I believe they are remodeling their rooms. Our room (#2) included: Two full beds, restroom with a shower, a mini fridge, microwave, low dresser, TV, coffee pot, & coffee. The owners are very nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful GEM of a place, tucked next to Greenbriar River. Rooms are very clean and the host, Jason, is kind and informative. He and his family have transformed what was a “seedy motel” into a beautiful, hidden resort. I will be back!

Small family run motel south of the New Gorge River National Park, if you're looking for something in that area.
My room was small, but clean and had everything I needed. It was nice to be able to go on the back deck behind the office and watch the Greenbrier River flow by and see the trains pass just above that on the side of the mountain. I think they have kayaks if you want to attempt that on the river.
Like I said, family run - I believe they just took over the place a few years ago - and they are in the process of redoing all the rooms, so there are some imperfections, but it was a great value for what I paid and it was very convenient to where I wanted to be.
Friendly and communicative owners.
Be sure to look through the local business binder they have in the room, you might find something totally excellent to try!

Excellant little motel! The owners were absolutely great! They think of every little detail to make your stay very comfortable..Very clean with a beautiful view of the Greenbrier River..The setting is a picture out of a magazine.. The owners made us feel like family. Couldn't have stayed at a better place while visiting the Southern half of the New River Gorge National Park...Would stay here again without a doubt! Thanks to the owners for making our stay memorable!

This location is a gem. We needed to come to Hinton for a funeral last minute, and we didn't want to have to travel far. Liza got us checked in promptly. We were able to change and get right to the funeral in town. After was able to come sit at picnic tables that overlooked the river. The room was very clean and comfy. Bed was comfortable. The location was quiet as well. Would stay here again.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. They had kayaks available to use for free and it made our weekend trip that much more enjoyable.

Beautiful rivers edge inn is exactly what this name means!. Beautiful view of the river and mountain side from the relaxing deck that is just feet from the river. This is one of the most picturesque places I have ever stayed and very reasonably priced. Our Hosts Liza and Jason treated us like family upon arrival and even treated us to a evening campfire. This place is not only a treasure of Beauty but a place to remember those who share this Beauty with others. Thank you again Liza and Jason for your outstanding hospitality!.

Nearby activities: There are many hiking trails and scenic waterfalls nearby.You can also kayak in the river by the rivers edge inn.

Wonderful place very cozy & small but u can use their kayaks,go tubing it sets right on the river. Even have a fishing dock. Owners were amazing very clean rooms the pic looks exactly the way it is oh & WOW THE SHOWER HAD A 12in head on it with amazing water pressure how could i forget that
