My elderly cat was VERY sick and I called five or six vets and no one could get him in. I called Animal Care Clinic and I can't tell you how very glad I did. They had me bring him in right in. The staff IS amazing, and that includes the vet. I felt listened to and there was no attempt to upsell me, which is what I usually experience at the vet. I highly recommend this place. I would give ten stars if that were an option!

Refused to see my dog after a post someone else in my family made about them. It’s sad to punish a puppy for someone else’s actions! Do not recommend them at all.

The best Vets and staff in Huntington! They truly care about your pets. And are straightforward about what's best for your pet. Their staff is amazing. They support and are affiliated with several rescues in the area.

We recently adopted a rescue puppy ( our Elli) that had been dropped off and had serious eye issues. This vet and staff have been absolutely amazing and Elli is now doing great. She is SO loveable and I know that their loving care after that traumatic experience made the difference. They are the best!! I can't thank them enough.

Seven years ago my cat was very sick, and his original vet couldn't get him in, saying they were booked for over a week. My cat was displaying very serious symptoms at 8:00am in the morning and our local animal ER doesn't open until the evening. I called multiple vets in the area to see who could get him in, and Animal Care Clinic listened to his symptoms and agreed that he needed to be seen immediately and made room in their schedule even though he wasn't an established patient. When I arrived at the office everyone was incredibly kind and patient with both my very sick and aggressive cat, as well as with me (I was an emotional mess!). He was treated for an organ issue that could have killed him in hours. Needless to say I transferred my pet to their care full time, and he now a wonderfully healthy 12 year old kitty who was able to make a full recovery. Animal Care Clinic continues to provide amazing care for my pets, and I can't recommend them enough. Last year the same cat had a minor leg injury late at night that I did take him to the ER for. The next day Animal Care Clinic called to check on his condition (I had provided the ER with the name of his vet) and got him in again as an emergency because he wouldn't take the medicine the ER had prescribed. From the doctors to the support staff, everyone has been great and I appreciate the services they provide our community.

This is the most fantastic vet in or around Huntington. They have gone out of their way, not just for me, but for a lot of people I know to do everything they can for furry family members. They also do not charge a lot - they are very competitive in that sense. Dr. Ginger is a very wonderful, intrinsically good person. The team saved my pup a couple years ago when he had parvo really bad. I didn't think he would make it - but with their love and support he pulled through. They don't run this place like a business, they run it like a place that they would want to take their loved ones to if anything happened to them.

From the moment you step into their office until you step out you will find the most caring people in the world. They take the time to answer all questions you may have, it's never rush, rush, rush! You can tell everyone there truly cares about our pets! They were so helpful with my Yorkie, Joshua, even though they had to tell me the bad news of him having end stage of kidney failure but they never gave up on him and neither did I! They will give you the truth on what you need to know and that helps a lot! When I took him in they put him on fluid and he needed a blood transfusion as he was in pretty bad shape, we didn't think he was gonna make it through the night but he pulled through and after 4 days I took him home. They taught me to give him Sub-Q fluid treatments 3 times a week at home even though I was terrified of needles but got over that fear for my little baby boy! Joshua lasted 8 months after finding out he had kidney failure, initially he wasn't expected to live through the night! For the most part he had energy and did all that a Yorkie of 10 years would do. Joshua died 2 days before his 11th birthday, March 27, 2011. If you have an animal with kidney failure, don't make that decision to put them down too early, mine lasted 8 more months and every day was a blessing! I thank everyone at Animal Care Clinic!

I took my cat Athena to Animal Care Clinic for years before I moved out of state. The whole staff is really polite and makes an effort to get to know your pet. My original vet, Dr. Brown, left the office and I was absolutely crushed because he knew my cat's history so well, but I swear I liked the new vet just as well almost immediately and felt so relieved I wasn't going to need to change offices. Both vets used their best judgment with my cat, and when Dr. Brown was unsure about a particular illness my cat had, he didn't hesitate to say so. Instead he referred her to a specialist, who knew exactly what to do. I can't tell you how much I appreciate honesty and integrity in any health care professional! They are also really good about working in emergencies. I've had scheduled appointments but had to wait a time or two because an animal came in with an emergency, but I know if I was in that owner's position I would appreciate the rush appointment. For the absolute best care for your pet, I highly recommend Animal Care Clinic
