Family run business, great home made food, friendly staff. They're only open for a handful of hours a day, and despite that, this place gets packed. That's really all you need to know. This place has great food and you'll definitely find something to eat that suits you, and won't regret stopping by!

One of the best lunch spots in the Huntington area. Great home cooked food. During this visit I had the vegetable soup, cornbread and a grilled cheese sandwich. All were fresh and so tasty. No better cornbread around. Service is always fast and efficient. One of my favorite places.

Wonderful down home, country cookin'. Can't beat the service; staff is superb and nice. The owner comes around to meet and greet; very genuine. Gotta love the old town memorabilia.

We are not from the area but wanted to eat local! Can't get more local than Central City Cafe! Great home cooking! I had the open face roast beef, with mashed potatoes! Yum, Yum! We had 6 in our group, and everyone loved the food! Would go again if ever in town!

This is the place. The food is great. If your looking for a good down to earth place for a bite to eat this is the place. It is also on the same street as the antique shops so it's a great place to park and spend the day.

Needs an update and better service. Food is good. Missing flavor. Found this place passing through and heard it was on triple D. Unfortunately I give this place a double zero!

To be honest, I don't remember what I had when I went. . .but I know it was good. Like, I have nothing but positive feelings for Central City Cafe but I'm not drawn to go back. I would not have any objections if I was with a group of people who wanted to go.Good on all counts, but not remarkable.

Wednesday, 7/26 we were seated with no wait at 12:45pm. We left af 1:40pm. We never got our food after waiting over 45 minutes, so we got up and left. The waitress was by far the rudest, most unpleasant waitress we have ever encountered. My husband has difficulty speaking sometimes due to illness. She interrupted him every time he tried to speak; he didn't even get to complete his order because she cut him off and walked away. She never set an expectation that food may take a while to be served, and she never checked back at our table for over 30 minutes. My husband asked her for the check for the drinks at about 40 minutes into this and instead of complying, she yells at him that they had been slammed so we should expect that it would take a while and it would be right out. After 5 more minutes, we left. We sat there long enough for me to see how dirty the place is; it needs a serious wash down! Horrible experience.
