Wow, the reviews really are true, the people running this lot are extremely rude and disrespectful. Walked up and asked to see a jeep and gave us the nastiest look and said “well you got money? It’s $24,990” then basically got told to come back when we had the money on us. Super nasty people and really have a big chip on their shoulder for people with like 2 cars on their lot. Hopefully they either learn some hospitality or go out of business soon

The owners of Rustys are obviously extremely unhappy people, and clearly weren’t taught by their parents to treat people with respect and dignity. In theory, I should feel sorry for them because it is clear that they are miserable. However, it’s difficult to put that pity into practice when they are so rude and nasty and really just horrible people. They seem to be under the delusion that used car salesman is a prestigious title, because they act like they’re really superior to other people. They seem to think that they are better than others and can treat people with disrespect…which isn’t too bright when you’re trying to peddle used cars. Apparently, I’m not the only person who feels this way. The other reviews all say the same thing. There are plenty of used car lots in the surrounding area. Don’t give these undeserving people your hard earned money!

Absolutely the rudest people you'll ever meet. I'm surprised they stay in business and that people buy off of them

Rudest people I’ve ever met when I dropped by to shop. I guess they thought I wasn’t good enough to grace their low end used car lot with my presence. You’ve heard of “Karen’s” and “Kyle’s” in the wild being ridiculously rude and condescending to people. Well, these two appear to be Husband and Wife and have zero intention of being nice to anyone. Buyer beware. They are just sleazy and rude used car salesman. No better than anyone but they sure do act like it.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Called to speak with the owner after being treated poorly and was told the disrespectful employee was actually his wife and she was not rude to us at all. I’m assuming this is always how they conduct business, unsure how they’re still open. Very unprofessional, glad we didn’t give them our money.

Stopped in there with cash in hand to potentially purchase my fiance a vehicle, was looking at the car beside it when an older woman yells at the door "it's sold!" And basically shoos us off the parking lot without even offering to help.

Purchased very clean 2005 Lexus RX330. Seems nearly new condition with 124k miles. A week later, Rusty arranged for a free full-featured key when I informed him the extra valet key did not function. He also sold us a car for my new daughter in law last year. Excellent and reputable business.

Bought a 2006 Buick LaCrosse CSX from this car lot February 2017. I had saved up money to purchase this car because my family had went with out a car for a year. I was looking for a used, dependable car. The cars in his lots always look nice and they seem to get a fair amount of business. We are now in October 2018 and honestly, I have had a lot of trouble out of this car since I bought it. I paid over 5,000 for this car. I knew that all cars have problems and items would need to be fixed and maintenance would also need to be done. It is expected with any used car. But I was not expecting problem after problem. I could have spent considerable less and ended up with a car with the same quality. Those of you reading, beware of the false appearance of quality. Just because the car looks good and has all of the bells and whistles, does not mean it will be reliable or even worth the money you paid for it. I am local to this town, have lived in Altizer my entire life (right around the corner from his lot). Needless to say, this car has major issues. Major issues that this car lot had no business selling this car for as much as they did. I have had my car in a local garage numerous times since I bought it a year and a half ago. Was told by Genes Automotives that the car's wiring system was held up but nothing more than ‘breadties'. The car's transmission kicks hard and slips all the time. Was told transmission codes were obtained from a diagnostic test performed. I had a traction control issue that caused the car's brakes to skid and lock up in which wheel bearing had to be replaced. Air and heating intermittently work as well as headlights. The headlights will turn off while you are driving in the dark and will not turn back on. I continue to drive this car for the simple fact that I have no other choice. I saved for this car and can't afford to purchase another a year and a half later, never expected to have to. I am sorry but the owner of this car lot could not have been ignorant to the car's troubles and if he was, irs simply bad business. I will tell everyone I know in this town of my troubles and hopefully steer anyone away who is even thinking about purchasing a car there.
