I would recommend the Huntington Self Storage business on 8th Avenue as a secure place to store personal items. I have been a customer since 2016. One perk of the building is the climate controlled environment. The freight elevator is convenient for moving items to the second floor unit. It has been clean & well kept every time I visit. I live out of state & easily pay my account balance online.

Climate controlled which was the reason I went here, small elevator, and lacking carts to transport your belongings in and around hallways. Tight corners almost wasn't able to put my couch there because of the small hallways. Horrible layout in parking. It is gated, but the gate stays open super long and had a homeless man walk in and ask me for money. Who knows what else could have happened, like a robbery or theft. I thought with all that security cameras, gates and door codes stuff like that wouldn't have happened.

The company has rental property, and were interested in a house they had in St. Albans. Spoke to them on June 17 and agreed to be at the house at 3:00pm on June 18. They said when we arrived to call to get the code to the lockbox to get the key. We arrived on time and made SEVERAL calls and left 2 voicemail messages with no response or answers. We waited 20 minutes, and decided they were not interested in renting the home and left.

We've used them the last 2 years for the college kids and the units are very clean and well lit. The staff is so pleasant and very accommodating. I definitely recommend using them.

This facility is amazing with even better employees. I had never used self storage before and they answered all my questions. The site is very clean and well lit. I would recommend this storage unit to anyone and everyone!

I had a great experience using Whirlwind Storage. The facility felt very secure, which made me feel comfortable leaving my valuable belongings there. The staff was friendly and the rates were reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone needing to store any item.
