We only used this location as a rest stop on a long drive. However, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was well-prepared and good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The only critique might be some of the dated features of the hotel (i.e. some minor cracks in popcorn-style walls and other cosmetic issues). But would stay there again should we pass through again.

My husband and I were traveling from Michigan to be with his dad for his last breath. We needed to find a restroom on a Sunday night @ 11pm This place was the first we seen for miles and miles. They were so friendly and welcoming. The lady let us use the restroom which was very clean. She gave us cookies and coffee and wished us safe travels. Thank you so much! You will forever be remembered for being so kind and generous

Full disclosure, I stayed here for free using loyalty points.A few recent bad experiences at other IHG properties tempered my expectations of this place, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found here. My room was clean, comfortable, and generally in great shape. The property appeared well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check in was very efficient. There was a little noise from the pool area that was audible in my room, but it tapered off around 10 PM. I'd happily stay here again if the regular price is reasonable.

We like to travel out west and this is normally our first stop after leaving home. This place have a friendly and helpful staff. They are always willing to assist in our needs. Hotel is conveniently located near restaurant. The rooms have always been clean and smell fresh. Beds are very comfortable and we have always had a good nights rest. It is also a very quiet place.Rooms: Clean and in great repair. You can tell management and staff take a great deal pride in the hotel and the work they do. Room are very comfortable

After driving for hours and trying to find a place to stay in several cities, holiday inn was able to accommodate us at midnight. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for your hospitality. Would definitely recommend!

After being on the road for over a week and sleeping out of my suburban I thought I could be happy with anything after checking in I quickly fell asleep and didn't start moving around the room until morning. To my surprise the pillow I had slept on all night was covered in mold and after pulling back the fitted sheet to find stranger hair everywhere and disgusting stains.

Was driving north and got just past Charleston, WV. Stopped for dinner and got on my phone to find a room. A lot of hotels were filled but when I called Winfield, was told they had a couple rooms. Asked if they would hold for me and they said yes. Asked if they wanted a CC and was told no need if you'll be here within the hour, and took my name. Showed up and the guy checking people in remembered our conversation and quickly checked me in. Asked if I needed anything or had any questions. Room was clean and (free) breakfast was good.

Clean rooms, friendly at Check in. Close to the freeway and lots of shops and restaurants. Don't buy anything at the front desk, they have pop and candy bars, chips and essentials. But the price is ridiculous. I bought an ice tea and kitkat cost was $5. Just drive across the road to the store or walk next door to the gas station. Other than that place was nice.
