Petco offers a wide range of pet products and services, including food, toys, grooming, training, and veterinary care. Many customers appreciate the convenience of having multiple pet-related services under one roof. The stores are generally well-stocked, and the staff is often knowledgeable and helpful.

I enjoy here. I just wish they had a little more cat stuff. My doggo loves the dehydrated treats.

If there was an option for me to leave no stars I would. I went to take my dog to get his nails clipped. When I get there I waited 15 minutes or so before being acknowledged, which I understood the lady was busy. Once she finished blow drying the dog she came out to talk to me and with a terrible attitude asked me how she could help me. I asked if there was time to get my dogs nailed clipped and she rudely told me she was the only groomer there and that she was full all day, ok no biggie. I asked her about tomorrow and she got even more rude letting me know she had already said she was the only groomer there and that she was booked up for a while. All I said was ok and walked away. I feel like she could have definitely explained things a little better and with a lot less attitude. Honestly when I left there I went ahead and went to Petsmart. Not only did they speak to me in non rude ways, they managed to be able to help me take care of what I needed. If it's great customer service you want, don't go here...I'm sure you could get better service from a lot of other places.

The prices are a bit high, but that's in all pet supply stores. We love our fur babies and corporate America knows it! They have everything a pet parent could want from training supplies to hot dog Halloween costumes for pets. Some locations also offer Vet Clinics for on certain days and the services seem to be cheaper than the traditional Veterinary office visits. A reduced rate for routine maintenance like overall wellness visits, shots/ vaccinations, deworming and flea meds is a great alternative to costly Vet bills. The clinics are pre scheduled so I suggest calling in advance for openings.

Stop by today 6/15 and the store was having pet adoption with some beautiful dogs out front. One was on a cage braking. As my husband and I got closer a woman walked over bent down in the dogs face and screamed shut up. I don not know if she was an employee or customer she was wear shorts and a tank top.. 3 people wearing staff shirts witnessed this and said nothing. My husband would not let me say anything. As we were shopping I seen her with another employee going though the store and as we were leaving she had her car stopped in the middle of the parking lot blocking traffic with Florida tags. If she is an employee or works with the humane office she needs to be fired.

Ms. Brenda was not only most helpful in finding a small ring to attach Puppie's rabies tag to his collar, but also taking time to find clippers for grooming his curly hair. She then walked me back to register. When she saw that Barry (clerk/cashier) was with a customer and another customer waiting, she politely excused herself to help the customer waiting in line before me. In the meantime Mr. Barry was finished up and asked me to come on over. That is what I call teamwork! Keep it up! Ms. Brenda asked me to bring Puppie and introduce him to them! I loved it!
The store itself was very clean.

Was notified today that our groomer Tyler is no longer with Petco in Hurricane, WV. I am just beside myself. Tyler was a HUGE asset to this store!! He was amazing with my dog and family member’s dogs as well. Tyler was always so kind and caring. He loved his job and it showed every time I saw him!! It’s a shame that Petco would let go of someone with such talent! I can only hope that I hear about where he will be working so I can cancel my Petco vital care and take my money where I know my dog and myself are happy with the groomer that we know. I still have an old Chewy account I will order my pet food and supplies from after cancelling Vital Care. I’m shocked and saddened by this news.

I have been shopping at Petco and taking my dogs there for grooming with Tyler for several years now. I received a phone call today from the Grooming Salon advising that Tyler was no longer with the store. My dog is anxious and nervous by nature and is even on Prozac for his anxiety. Tyler was amazing with him. He always said that Mack was one of his favorites to groom. Mack responded well to Tyler and Tyler was so kind and patient with him and it kills me to think I will now have to seek out a new groomer. I advised I wanted to cancel my upcoming appointment and asked if they knew where Tyler went. I was told by Reianna that she could not tell me anything, not even his last name. She was very rude as she always is anytime she is working the desk at the salon when I am there. So now my poor pup who gets stressed out easily anyway is left without the groomer that he has known for the last few years. Tyler always did a great job and knew exactly how to cut Mack. To say I am disappointed or upset is an understatement. I will continue trying to locate Tyler in hopes of finding out if he took a grooming job somewhere else but it would be nice if Petco would put their customers’ needs first and give them this information. Given this I may cancel my vital care membership and start shopping at Chewy going forward.

For a pet store has very limited options for meds and vitamins for cats. Pricey as well.
