Terrible. I am pre diabetic and extremely iron deficient. They withheld these results from me when I was having extreme health issues that put me in the hospital multiple times. I did not find these results until I transferred to Spring Valley Family Care. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Maps has sent me many times in dirt roads where there's nothing had to call family to find me in West Virginia. Washington DC maps kept sending me to wrong turn off roads near capital and Whitehouse it even sent me to a one way major road.

A true GEM of a hospital! We've had several very successful procedures there. The nurses and doctors are excellent and very competent. Everyone is friendly and kind from the staff to the volunteers. We've had to make several phone calls to the hospital and everyone is accessible unlike a larger hospital where your call goes to a central hub. We will continue our health care at this hospital.

The dr. Was very rude and literally looked at my daughter's hand and said I don't know go somewhere else I have other patients too see...the worst experience I've ever had there...nurses were very nice but that doctor needs his license revoked...so unprofessional and horrible beside manner!!!!!!

Really nasty people working there. Proceed at your own risk of some of the worst Healthcare in the country! You been warned. No wonder the waiting room was empty. Nurse didn't even know how to put an IV in my arm.

Since going to WVU it is impossible to get anything scheduled! You have to call 3 or 4 different places to get an answer! Been going here for years and loved the place. But now it is ridiculous!!!

My husband was taken to the ER by ambulance on Thursday. The ER Doctor was very kind and knowledgeable. He was admitted and had a great group that took care of him. I would like to shout out on the Med Surg unit. Denise RN, Adam Aide, and Tanner PA was amazing! Thank you for helping him get better and on the right track and back to a healthier him!

Dr. John Michael Logar was in the room with me no more than two minutes. Covid test came back negative. Though my symptoms show something is going on, he declined my request to do blood work. He didn’t take urine or nothing. You can tell which doctors care about their patients and which are just there for a check!! It’s truly sad.

Highly satisfied with my care every time I’ve been there. Glad to make the 1/2 drive for professional and compassionate care. Everyone during my last stay as A+ from the Drs to the maintenance staff… I was treated like family, not a number

POTOMAC VALLY HOSPITAL. WVU.
A caring institution
This is my first review. But I just found a very good example of a hospital that demonstrstes a system that puts Caring about and for the patient first.
. My hospital experience is broad, and unique. I am old and have been a patient in several different hospitala. Large referral highly recognized as well as small local institutions. Potomac Valley was so different I wanted to let you know.
Baaed on my experience it seems caring for and about patients is no longer the primary mission for many institutions. It seems to me money is now the primary objective.
Potomac Valley is different in several important ways. The atmosphere is positive. People working there are happy, they smile, seem to work together to help each other and are glad to meet you and want to help you. They take their time and work with you to get you the care you need and want. The staff is proud to work there.
Hopefully you wont need a hospital. But if you do. Be proud and thankful to have this hospital as a choice.

Hospital is an absolute joke, gave me medicine that gave me an allergic reaction and just gave me a Benadryl and sent me home, now the Benadryl wore off and I’m having a 160 heart rate sitting in bed the next morning, I would not recommend anyone to go to this hospital, THEY WILL KILL YOU!
