If you want to have the ABSOLUTE WORST customer experience ever use Amerigas!!
Your scheduled delivery (that you had to wait 2 weeks for) could be incorrectly canceled as your account was incorrectly closed without you even being contacted (for some unknown reason- even a supervisor can’t advise of). Then when you call to check on your delivery, that you were told was to be made yesterday, and you deal with multiple holds and transfers to REINSTATE your previously 7+ year old account. You’re told you have to wait 24-48 hours for your account fully reinstated, THEN you can call to schedule ANOTHER delivery which could put your delivery date OVER A MONTH from when you originally scheduled a delivery.
OH AND your previous payment that you were told would be a credit is now being refunded via a check in the MAIL so you would have to pay in full again.
We’ve been without propane since 2/26 with no idea of when delivery will be made!

Ordered and paid for gas on 1/29/25, delivered Feb 10 but we had ran out of gas tank was locked, and a note was left to call and they would come out, do the check, and turn it on. I have called customer service for 3 days- talked with 8 different people- the call center is overseas and no local office number- after being on hold for an hour I was told my account was closed 3 years ago- it was not, talked to someone else they would escalate a ticket, no ticket created, this morning I was finally transferred to someone local who said no documentation that my tank was locked- I have the paperwork- she was going to check and call me back- still no call back. So I have a full tank of gas and no way to use it and no solution from the company. I offered to go ahead and pay the fee- still nothing! Worst company I have ever seen! See photos below- looks locked and disconnected to me! I give it a negative 5 stars!

Worst customer service EVER!!! We ordered our gas on Jan 14,2025 and we are running out of gas. Now they said they are going to slap extra fees on us!!!! Robert and Dreama Birkeland

They have gone downhill for to cutbacks and corporate greed - I have an empty tank and it’s winter - I heat with propane ! I auto pay so they actually owe me money at this point ! Calling does no good - straight to a call center in India with scripts - so I now call this company ‘Indiagas’ - don’t do business with them !

Got several delivery dates and no one showed up I had to call emergency service because my tank got to low due to lack of deliveries. I requested 100 gal in large tank but then the delivery guy that finally came also filled my guesthouse tank which I did not authorize.

Even though requested, I never received a delivery ticket showing the amount of fuel put in my tank. The gauge registers too low to have the amount of fuel requested put in it. Then I was charged a "paper fee" to mail my bill; a fee for calling in order (which I did not do), and a state sales tax fee (didn't owe this), and more. Very disappointed.

Do NOT get AmeriGas! Getting propane takes months and apparently tank pick ups also take months. We switched to natural gas and have been attempting to get our tank picked up since *April* and it's now July. You can speak to the representatives and schedulers and all they can do is put in a ticket request for you. (Which I probably have 6+ escalation tickets in over the past 3 months). AmeriGas outsources to a 3rd party for tank pick ups, so if they are a no call, no show (which is apparently normal), you are SOL. For 2 weeks in a row in June, the guy never showed up. And "they're working on getting me back on the schedule." AmeriGas will do absolutely nothing to help.

Thanks for not showing up for now 4+ days now after scheduled, where my family has been with you for fills and all for 20+ years and now because the driver was worried about snow on a hill, where might I mention are several neighbors have made it up and down, UPS has made it up and down, FedEx has made it up and down, schwan's has made it up and down, and it is plowed. But your truck driver is too scared of snow to come fill up my parents propane that their house runs off of and they're both over 65 and the temperature has been in the negatives the past two days good job way to be such a reliable service. To the point where we were lead on today being told we were fourth in line then second in line and then that your driver's too scared to come down a hill we will be happy to drive it up and down for him or her if they could show up. Again, way to go!

I have had them for year as a back up heat source was filling on a regular basis yearly. With the past few mild winters just payed rental charges. Raised price to $94.00 for a 100 gal tank per year. Customer service needs some work.

If there was a minus star, I would choose that. They say my father signed up for renting their tanks but my mother said we owned them. We had to pay rental fees on four tanks but they usually did not fill all four. Their phone system is terrible and there is no customer service at all!

Great to deal with. Auto fill takes the worry out of delivery times plus they are very kind to speak to regarding delivery and charges on my invoices.. Excellent service and a pleasure to do business with... No worries here
