“What a terrific place! The location is perfect as all of downtown lewisburg is walkable. The rooms are very updated and impeccably clean. The inn an and its rooms almost feel as if you have your own apartment rather than than just a room. The asylum next door has terrific food and a great bar staff. Just an incredibly well run place in a terrific location. When I foolishly left my AirPods in my room, they even offered to ups them back to me at home. Terrific place and terrific people. This should be your choice for any stay in Lewisburg.”

“The General Lewis Inn is a West Virginia treasure. The proprietors, Sparrow & Aaron, are kind and gracious hosts. The property is historic and well appointed, while staying in tune with the times. The restaurant is charming and refined in all of the right ways with delicious food, and warm service. Highly recommend.”

“One of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Since 2020, you can’t really find decent hotels anymore. This one was great! Easy to get to, even in the snow. The free breakfast was one of the best, lots of options and clean. The seating area was perfect for viewing the snow.”

“Room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This was a perfect overnight stopping place for our journey. Convenient to I 64 and restaurants
If we're through this way again, this Holuday Inn would be our overnight choice.”

“[[Sat.25.April.2026 @ 0910hrs]]

We booked this Inn (Due to Pickelfest 2026) and was given Rm# 100, which is at end hall in direction of I-64, once walked in we was greeted with Kindness n Smile, checking in went smoothly, once to room, it was very clean Thanks to “Olivia” had a Great Smell to room (some rooms seem to be stale smelling) but this one was perfect smelling, every thing worked in room as it was suppose to, breakfast was good last couple days here as well, also not alot parking up to Fairfield Inn structure but they share parking lot out front with a Plaza area.
Now reason i gave a 4star instead of 5star was due to two reaons, Rm#100 at end of Hallway where Side Door is to go out side is very noisy in this room, you can hear when customers are going out or coming in thru that door constantly door closing hard n sending vibration n sound into room, the second reason is, there is hardly any hot water, you have to turn on hotwater about 20minutes before about to use to actually get Luke Warm Water Temp.

* Im kinda curious, for Fairfield Members there usually Cookies given from the Front Desk and what happen to the Spin-wheel that was at Front Desk for Members to spin and Win extra Points or % Off or Etc, most Fairfields has theses.”

“We called to see if there was any rooms available. There was I believe, a Renaissance thing going on so a lot of the rooms was taken. The guy that answered was amazing, friendly & very informative. We reserved the room then when we got there, he was the one that took our call. He was very nice to us & answered all of our questions!!! I didn't get his name but he deserves kudos!!! One thing I'd like to add. The parking outside our room was not so good. There was a truck taking up 2 spots, I have a cane, so sis dropped me off & walked back. I called the front desk (not the young man that helped us) they sd they'd look into it. Nothing was done. I thought they had license plates & could figure it out. We made the best of it. Thank you 😊”
