Planned a stay for the weekend and it exceeded expectations. Super clean, updated shower and bathroom and thoughtful details like several flavors of tea to choose from and printed local guides.
The check in and out was so easy and the location couldn't be beat. Walk out the door and you are on your way to local shops and restaurants.
For all of the above reasons and price point, would absolutely stay here again.

Wow! This room was so clean. Like fresh clean perfection. Cannot recommend highly enough. Easy walk to all the sites. The entire facility was very well considered and I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Nice quiet weeknight stay! Spotlessly clean second floor corner room, generously sized with a large bathroom and great shower. Parked on the street right out front. Walked a short distance to charming downtown for breakfast. Good communication about access.

I wish I could give six stars. Extremely well designed and appointed. Unfortunately, the Asylum next door was closed. I ate at the Livery about a block away. (Photo attached)

Happened to come across this neat Hotel from booking.com. coming home from Noah's ark encounter. Husband and I decided to stay additional day. It's like a travel back in time in this historic town. Will definitely stay here again.

While en route, my car broke down, and I ended up booking an impromptu stay at The Escape. Despite the unplanned nature of my visit, it turned out to be a very positive experience. The check-in process was entirely self-service, with the entry code and room details sent via message. I appreciated the convenience of this self-help setup.
My 10-year-old daughter mentioned she had the best sleep she’s ever had at a hotel, thanks to the incredibly soft mattress. However, there was a pretty large hole in the sheet, which almost led me to rate the stay lower. Still, my daughter encouraged me to overlook this minor issue, given all the other positives. Overall, a great stay! Will come back for future trips to the area.

Great boutique hotel with amazing value. Really cool spot with great location. Restaurant downstairs (we didn’t eat there) which is awesome, as well as lots of other options very near. Lots of shopping nearby as well. The rooms are quaint but well equipped. If I had one critique, the tv signal wasn’t great, but it is hardly an issue. We will definitely stay here again next time in town.

Awesome boutique hotel. It is in town and within walking distance to plenty of places and there is a bar and restaurant literally next door with another restaurant and also a bakery behind the building. Parking is on the street, but there are a few spots, and we didn't have any trouble finding one the time we were there.
We booked through a third party, and it ended up being self check in to the building and the room which we found very convenient (no waiting for a front desk person to finalize your reservation).
The rooms are definitely a cut above standard hotel rooms. It kinda feels like an efficiency apartment.

Nice hotel with kitchenette. Spacious room nicely located. Walkable to all of historic downtown. Quiet, comfortable. We had a minor check in issue and the owners personally took care of it! Would stay again.

I usually don’t write reviews for anything, but I really appreciated how convenient this hotel was when I needed a room very late in the night. The room was extremely clean and comfortable too. Great price for being right in Lewisburg!

We were traveling from Morgantown to Roanoke and stayed the night at The Escape. It was fantastic! Easy to find, plus they gave you the code to get into both the building and the room. The room and bathroom were spacious (we stayed in #102), the water pressure good, and the bath products were nice as well. Well ate dinner on Main Street at Stardust Cafe (another strong recommend) and walked back to The Escape after. All in all, I highly recommend!

Excellent stay in a great room. Quiet, clean, comfortable bed. The location was perfect. We walked to dinner, breakfast the shops and historic buildings. Relaxed outside at the restaurant next door at night and enjoyed the band playing at the restaurant nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
Nearby activities: Parks and trails to walk. Historic buildings and markers to read while shopping at all the unique shops in historic Lewisburg. Several restaurants within walking distance that offer an eclectic and wide variety of options from the foodie to the family dinner.
Walkability: If you want to take the day to explore the historic district, you can walk everywhere from the hotel.
Food & drinks: We ate at Hill & Holler for pizza and wings- delicious. A coffee shop named the Wild Bean for breakfast. Several other options in walking distance including a taco place with vegan options. The restaurant next door (asylum) is amazing as well.

Incredible place to stay. Had zero complaints about service / or the room. Would absolutely stay there again if I’m passing through that area!
