This location is terrible. Most of the customers who shop there are extremely rude and not friendly at all. The managers and employees there are very rude as well. Anyone who says that people there are friendly (managers, employees, or customers) don't know what they're talking about. The store apparently allows solicitors to come and harass customers into giving them money or adopting a pet. Also they obviously allow any animal in the store even though the sign clearly says Service Animals Only. The bathrooms are constantly out of order because of customers who keep throwing trash in the toilets. Self checkout seems to be a must for everyone, even people who don't know how to use a computer like the elderly for example. There is a lot of cussing that goes on in there too as well. Police needs to be stationed at that location because of the crime that goes on there often. Child abuse happens there often too so CPS needs to be stationed at this location as well.

This has to be the worst Walmart that I have ever been to. Giving this one rating is actually too good for it. First off the employees hate working there. I am someone people easily spill their guts to and the horror stories that come out of their mouths. For example, let's post old people in the front of the store during winter time but tell them they aren't allowed to wear a jacket so must stand in the cold as the wind comes blowing in. Another employee was out in the snow gathering buggies when they twisted their ankle because the parking lot was slippery and not taken care of. They had to quit instead of outright being fired because Walmart didn't want to be responsible for their twisted ankle. They have security doors at all entrances but according to employees even if the alarms do happen to go off just keep walking with whatever you stole because they will be fired if they confront you because, according to them, Walmart doesn't want to deal with shoplifting court cases or any health costs if the confronting employee gets hurt. If you go to the store you will see young people walking around chatting, not working but at the front of the store the only person who can check you out is a woman older than Moses with breathing tubes in her nose that is made to stand there forever with no breaks. At least get the woman a chair or something. Or at least find her a job that isn't that physically taxing on someone her age. I have stood in her line and listened to other old people talk under their breath about how horrible they treated her. As a gay individual, I was trying to get some assistance on buying something for my computer when I asked for help the first words out of their mouth were, "We don't carry stuff for your butt-fucking orgies" I was looking for mood lighting that I could connect to my desk and monitors that worked with my computer. If you need something that is locked in a cabinet. Good luck. It is easier to find someone who does brain surgery in the place than find someone to help you do something. I wanted to paint my house. I stood there for an hour waiting for someone. I asked for customer service for someone who they told me would be right there. To go back and ask for them to tell me he went home for the day and no one else could do it. The bathrooms in the place are absolutely disgusting. I do lots of traveling and it is sad when an off-road truck stop bathroom in the middle of nowhere is more acceptable than Walmart. Reviewers are right when they say there is usually shit and toilet paper all over the walls and toilets. Let's talk about the food preparation from the deli and such. Disgusting. The amount of grime that you can see sitting right there on the floor as you are trying to shop. When you do try to get something from them such as fried chicken or items, instead of a "Can I help you?" you get a "What do you want?" Often I have walked away just from the attitude. The store is never stocked. The people are too busy loading up online orders than stocking the stores. Often I see employees coming out of the back with items people have ordered, bags full, but don't ask someone if they have something in the back because you will get a huff and be told no. This is amazing cause you can go online and it says they have it and if you order it online amazingly it just appeared meaning they had to go to the back and get it anyhow. Honestly, the store itself really needs to be shut down. It is the worst Walmart I have ever been to in my life. Customers aren't happy, employees aren't happy, and management sucks. Shut the store down and give us a Target.

I would give this store a zero if I could. I had the worst experience at this store. I made a return at customer service for purchase I made earlier in the morning by debit card with a receipt. Supervisor Sarah did not acknowledge me waiting and was busy talking 2 other employees. Finally, she called me up asking me what I wanted. I told her I wanted to return a few items and provided the receipt. I asked for a merchandise card because I wanted to buy different items in the store rather than to wait 3 to 4 business days for it to be credited on the card. She said nope, it's too late and there's nothing she can do. She didn't listen to my request. I told her that was unacceptable. Asked for Store Manager and she said the Store Manager is not here today and that nobody can help me; that she's following policy. Was extremely rude, treated me as I was insignificant and acted like a bully. She handed me the return receipt and turned away. I had to go back to get my original receipt.I called customer complaint line and told them about the situation. Was told once the cashier hit the button there's nothing that can be done. Told me that someone from the store would call in 2 to 3 business days.I feel that Walmart monopolizes the retail business, makes the customer do their own scanning to save on payroll, and treats customers like crap if there is a problem. You can never get management to help.

So... we are in a global pandemic everyone is suppose to be extra attentive to bodily fluids. The memo has NOT been received at the Beckley, WalMart. The restroom was the absolute most disgusting place I have ever been. Three of the restrooms had feces smeared on the lids. Two doors didn't even lock and there was toilet paper everywhere. In the sink there was a liquid, I think that looked like throw up dried in the sink. So I obviously walk out because well it was disgusting as well the smell was unexplainable. I go to the restroom in the back of the store. The entire way there spraying myself with hand sanitizer. Well to the back... it was not as bad but still was awful. Now I get people are nasty and they show just how nasty in public restrooms. But please have a cleaning crew I can't imagine being an employee and having to use any of those bathrooms. Again, all I see at WalMart is signs to social distance wear a mask wash your hands. Well if you are so worried about a pandemic and health why are you not keeping your restrooms somewhat usable. This is really nasty and unacceptable.

One register was open with an actual cashier on a busy Sunday afternoon. Five people were standing in this line, two customers had two carts full of groceries. The self check-out registers that were open had 3-4 customers waiting to use them. At least 7 employees were walking leisurely around the front area where this register was located, talking to each other. An elderly lady working at the cash register asked for help 3 times before anyone would stop talking and do it. One of the employees at the front walked around with 3 plastic hangers in his hand and did nothing for a solid 20 minutes. I watched the clock as I stood there. Elderly people behind me having a difficult enough time coming to the store themselves, wait while store employees blatantly disregard what is going on around them. I had to wait in this line for 35 minutes to get someone to remove a security device from a printer I needed quickly, or else I would have driven anywhere else to buy it and pay more. The customer service is extremely poor at this store. Very disappointing!

It was amazing. I got separated from my grandmother while I was there and a really cool staff member named Kendall helped me. Everyone on the staff that I talked to was super friendly and helpful.

I want a real manager! I don’t want to check my cart. I don’t want to bag my groceries. Produce is stuck in summer. No Autumn squash. Empty shelves. No peppers! Poor guy I sent to the back twice due to empty shelves... needs a promotion. Blonde at checkout not sure gender (no disrespect intended) 0 people skills! If you want a cashier and bagger Food Lion, Save-A-Lot! Just drive past. Really, whoever is running this place IM me. I’ve worked in retail management. Your employees when your gone are failing you, the community and @walmart

The store is rarely stocked or over cluttered with pallets. There is not enough electric carts for people that need them. And with all the self checkouts there's not enough cashiers for the people who don't self checkout. I'm fed up with it, it's the same every week

Shout out to MacArthur Walmart for selling bags of jerky that are over a year old. The jerky had white stuff growing on it.
