My fiancé accidentally overdrafted his account. He immediately went in the next day with cash to fix the balance. He was told that he had bounce coverage & he only needed to deposit $200. A few days later we see that the account is still overdrawn so he went in to find out what was going on. Come to find out he had been given the wrong info by the bank which caused his account to bounce a second time. We really think this was done on purpose so they could charge even more fees. This is a terribly sneaky way to make the bank a few extra bucks. Very disappointing.

This is not just for this branch, but I am not sure where to post at. My boyfriend has city national and is the process of switching to another bank due to the very very poor issues we've been dealing with recently. If i could make my review a 0, I would. I will not be recommending this bank to anyone for the following reasons. Our first issue that started, is that he would send try sending his money to me so I could take it out of the bank with no charge because we have had to be out of state due to me getting pregnant with being born with spina bifida. They flagged the 20th time he's done this, which can be understandable, however, he said it was him and he tried to send it to his new account once that was fixed and they flagged it again not even 24 hours later. We were both irritated at this point. He, being a guy, got mad and mentioned about closing but didn't verify or actually say he was closing now when on the phone. Coming to find out, 2 weeks ago on a Friday they had already started closing his account so his money wasn't able to process. Talk about stress on a pregnant women! Now we have been struggling for gas for him to go to work, no lunch for his work, I can't get what I need, and we are late on payments for bills due to this mess! So I would like to thank this banking system for making our lives hell for the last 2 weeks!
