This was my first bank so it holds a special place in my heart, but as of late, it seems like there is literally always something wrong; the app is down, can’t log into accounts, the account balance doesn’t match the transactions, etc. Not to mention, their overdraft fee is outrageous, and half the time it’s not even your fault. Overdraft fees are all-but-extinct in the banking world anymore. All my other banks I bank with have overdraft protection. Here, they’ll ding you nearly $30 for being a penny over.There’s just way better banks out there. Your money is way too important; I would not recommend keeping your money here.

This credit union is stuck in the Dark Ages. Their website is terrible! if you opt for e-statements, then you only get e-statements going forward--no matter how long you have been a member. Space prohibits me from describing all the other miseries I have experienced dealing with this credit union which is a generation behind the times. They'll give you the excuse they have to do things differently because they are a credit union but this is BUNK because I have accounts at 2 other credit unions that render FAR SUPERIOR SERVICE.

Got a letter stating I owe $104 in January saying a payment was missed and corrective action needed to be taken. I contacted the credit union office and was told they never received my payment that has been on auto pay for a couple years, was told to go to my bank and stop payment on the check that was sent to them from my bank because they never received it, went to my bank and found out not only was the payment made as it has been for months but the check had been "processed" by this credit union, within a day or two received another letter from the credit union that the mistake was on there part due to an employee error. Thought that would be the end of it, by the way I paid the extra $104 just to save my credit score as the credit union threaten to send a negative report to them for the $104. Today I received another letter stating that a negative report WAS sent to the credit bureau concerning the $104 even though it wasn't my fault and I paid the extra fee to avoid this. I called Eastern Panhandle Credit Union to find out what the Hell is going on there, I was put on hold for a extended period and then was told all of the managers were to busy to talk with me and they would call me back today so we can resolve this matter, you guess it, not one call back. I suggest you find another credit union to handle your financial business.....as of today 2/3/2022 I still haven't received any calls from the Eastern Panhandle Credit Union regarding this matter.

I have been a member of Eastern Panhandle Credit Union since we move to WV in 2001. Great experience through the years and very warm atmosphere! Tina, Heidi, Shelly, and every member of the staff were phenomenal.We have moved from WV to GA in 2017. Since then I have called the Eastern Panhandle Credit Union multiple times needing help. I can't say enough good things about both Tina and Heidi. I am not even actively banking there, but they helped me tremendously!! Every time I had them on the other end, they were very professional and very friendly. Thank you so much for your dedication to make every person feel great!

Regrettably, I have to give one star to give a review. Money was taken from my "share" money without notification and without my permission. Then, I get a nasty letter stating I owe "share"money. I asked to be taken off the mailing list so money would not continue to be taken from my account. I was told by the arrogant manager, that if I was taken off of the mailing list, I would not be able to access my account online either. Don't let the low interest rates fool you. You will pay in hidden fees.

I've been with EPFCU for 15 years and have never had an issue. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I do miss the Saturday hours they had in years past I'm a member for life.
