I have been banking with through all its changes in names and have been pleased with the customer service and assistance with all my banking needs. I would recommend this bank to anyone who likes to feel they are banking with a hometown bank.

Martinsburg on FoxCroft ave- I went to deposit at the drive through window with cash and check in an envelope. I had counted money 3 times before sending it in so I knew what was exactly there. There were three (3)x100 bills and nine (9)x 20’s in the envelope. The teller tried telling me that the cash I gave her was $100 short. Since I knew exactly what was there, I told her to send everything back through the drawer. When I counted the money she handed back to me, there were only (2)x $100 bills for which I informed her that one of the hundreds was missing. She said she would have to count down her drawer. I then told her to get a manager. The manager proceeded to help her count down her window and it was obvious they couldn’t find the “missing money.” Suddenly, the manager says, “oh here it is, it was caught underneath the drawer.” I replied, “how convenient, considering the check and all the money were sent through via envelope.” There was no way that money got caught in the drawer. So, to add insult to insult, after handing me the deposit slip, she tells me to “have a better evening.”

On the phone customer service is TERRIBLE. They hang up on you and don't call you back. They are rude and don't listen to what the customer is saying. They don't explain anything well, and they make it seem like they are doing you a favor when there are inconsistencies in their job. If you go into the branch you feel welcomed but on the phone they make you want to close all of your accounts and go somewhere else

Probably one of the worst banks and customer service experiences I've ever had with a bank, and I've banked with Wells Fargo. They charge absurd fee's and truly “nickel and dime†their customers. BCT is less than a mile away, go there.
