Their system was hacked by Apple. Nearly $500 was taken from my account. I called for a new card as I live out of state. They said they had to charge me $50 for a new card! Plus they wont even send it for 4 days. I wouldn't have access to my money for 10 days. They had NO issues with this and had nothing else to help or offer. Being without access to your hard earned money over the holidays. Terrible company. I will be closing my account whenever this magical $50 card arrives. Here's to the new year without Summit!!

Everyone is so nice. Always greet me by my name when I go in so I don't feel like just a number like at other banks much more personable. Just an all around great bank.

**If you are a business owner and your finances are being handled at Summit Community Bank read this**In today's world companies can say whatever they want and do whatever they want to try to persuade you into believing that they are a "good company." However, I believe the best way to prove that a company is truly a "good company" is by how they treat their employees.I have been banking at my local office in Inwood West Virginia ever since it was originally an F&M Bank (years and years ago). I've seen multiple banks take over and then sell it to another bank. One thing I've never seen from those other banks is overworked and underpaid employees. The employees at our local branches in Martinsburg, Charlestown, and Inwood are all overworked and underpaid. The tellers work 6 days a week and start out only getting paid $13 an hour. Right next door Arby's starts out at $13 an hour and Target starts out at $15 an hour. You know a big difference about working at those other two places? They don't require aptitude tests nor do they require a squeaky clean background.Whether or not you own a business, or you just get your Social Security check deposited in this bank, we should all demand that Summit Community Bank raise their starting pay and show appreciation to their employees. We are not going to continue to get good trustworthy tellers if they can get paid more with less stress or hoops to jump through at other jobs. We are trusting these tellers with our livelihoods, our children's college savings, and our homes so pay them what they deserve!
