The run is quite easy to navigate, mostly an easy paddle suitable even for amateurs and families, though water levels can affect timing and create some shallow spots. The outfitter is known for going above and beyond, such as dropping off dry firewood for guests launching in rain. While generally highly recommended, it is advised to call to confirm arrangements, especially for last-minute bookings, as response can vary. The location continues a legacy of local river outfitting with great, smooth service for a fun day on the water.
New management of a local outfitters, I am so happy that Calleva took over the infamous Trough General store and is keeping it going. Boat rentals and shuttle service, call the friendly staff for all the river info you will need.

Always a good time with them. We have rented equipment and done just shuttle service makes a fun day.
