“I have lived in the Rice Rentals Colonial Terrace apartments in Bridgeport for almost two years but now having to move out of state. I moved from a house in Texas to this apartment and it was the best decision I made upon moving to West Virginia. I have a special appreciation for Jake, my maintenance guy. He always responds quickly with any concerns or problems I had, making any repairs in a timely manner. He keeps the lawns mowed and neat and the sidewalks were shoveled and salted through this last bad winter. I’m going to miss my little apartment. Pam, the receptionist, and the owner of the apartments have been very easy to work with. I give them an A+++++”

“I would highly recommend renting through Tera! I have had friends that rented through Tera for 3 years (2015-2018), and hearing about their great experience, as well as the amazing condition of the units, it was an easy decision to rent through them for the year (2018-2019). I’m a young professional, and the Avery Apartments were a perfect fit for me. The apartment was in incredible shape when I moved in, and if there were any issues, Homer was either in touch about fixing it or at the unit within a few hours. The service is great, everyone that helps goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

As far as the negative reviews on security deposits, service, and just overall attitude, I want to say that is not the case. Aside from the expected carpet cleaning fee, which I knew about prior to even signing my lease, I received my full deposit back. They are very reasonable, and very easy to get along with. My questions were ALWAYS answered with a friendly and helpful response. If you are considerate and courteous, do not hesitate to rent through Tera!”

“TLDR: I would highly recommend living here. The landlord genuinely cares about the condition of their building, and is extremely easy to contact. If you want to live in a place that you can absolutely trash, and the landlord won’t care, then don’t live here.I lived here for 2 years from 2016 to 2018 and had a good experience. I was just re-looking up the address while applying for a new apartment in another city.I lived in another apartment before this one in Morgantown where I had probably your typical slum lord type of landlord experience that is prevalent in Morgantown. The place was not in great condition, it was impossible to reach the landlord when we had a problem, and despite the condition of the apartment being the same when we left, we did not get any deposit back. My brother who went to school here before me also had a similar experiences with other landlords. Our experience with Mode Roman was completely different. For one the landlord genuinely cared about taking care of this apartment building. The landlord regularly had the hallways cleaned every week, and the condition of our apartment was great when we moved in. We had the cell phone number of our landlord and could contact them directly if we had issues and always got an immediate response. One time my toilet was making weird noises late at night (probably around 11pm) and my landlord happened to be awake and came to check it out right away. Another time the heating element in my oven broke. The landlord ordered the new part for the oven and had it re-installed within a few days. It was such a good experience living here several of our friends ended up moving in to their own apartments, too.”
