Unmatched service. I've been a customer for over 25 years and had an emergency today. This branch had just closed but the tellers still let me in. I was able to fix the financial emergency. You're doing yourself an injustice by not banking with First United.

Had one of the most ridiculous experiences spanning four years. I signed up for a retirement account through my employer in 2018. In 2022, I found out that my employer had forgotten to remit any of my payments for my retirement account FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. No one at this bank or their investment broker noticed- they still charged me a fee for my account, of course.Then later in 2022, I found out that they NEVER INVESTED any of my money in the first place. Even though I had filled out the retirement paperwork and selected investment accounts, the money want just sitting in cash in an account. Still charged me for all those years, of course, and refused to admit any fault or pay me back for the years of interest gone from my retirement account.Absolutely disgusting and a complete lack of fiduciary responsibility. There are thousands of better places to do your investments and retirements through.

I have banked here for years but after today I'm done .no one should have to wait 4 days for the money they work for ..u guys have put my money in wrong account before I was ok with it but when I can't have access to what u work for is ridiculous I would not recommend this bank to anyone.
