“our stay at this Candlewood Suites was superb the room had everything we needed in it and it was very clean the desk was very accommodating to anything that we needed the laundry facilities were awesome the Fitness was excellent the outdoor seating area with Horseshoes and fire pit is such a nice touch and it even has a gazebo with out door seating to eat a meal there! what we love most about the room was the kitchenette we were able to cook breakfast for us and our dog and it was a most excellent situation!!”

“I just had my wedding reception here last night and I wanted to review while everything was fresh! This venue is gorgeous and intimate. Antique elements and classy beautiful decor. The rooms were cute and bed comfortable. I saw many of the different styles of rooms including the two suites and all were nice. I would 100% recommend hiring a day of coordinator coordinator to help make you day run smoothly. The hotel is a great venue and great food and catering, however they’re not a full service wedding stop so definitely hire a coordinator/planner to help with all those tiny details!”

“Breakfast was delicious and the room and pool was awesome but the manager Cade kept following us around like we were children or something… he followed us outside when we went to grab our DoorDash then he followed us outside and asked what we were doing and we told him we were having a smoke and waiting on food then he accused us of stealing pillows from god knows where but he was super nosy and we felt like he could of minded his own business and not harassed us so much… other then that it was nice!”

“Picked someone up here after their car got towed for being drunk while driving...

Free breakfast ended too soon for my taste, but everything else seemed nice... for the 45-95 minutes I was there.”

“Great hotel one block from rail trail, river, and playground. Perfect for stretching legs or cyclists. About a mile to Core Aboretum and WVU campus. Lots of parking and indoor salt water pool - kids loved it. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was ample with good staff service. Scheetz gas station across street and easy access to 79. Thumbs up.”
