“Room was very nice although sound proofing needs improved. I could hear conversations from an adjoining room - normal conversational tone, no yelling. And there is a nearby train track which is very loud.”

“Recommended. This hotel offers fine accommodations in a convenient location at a reasonable price. Our room was very clean and we appreciated the black-out window curtain, the high-definition TV, the Keurig machine, and the choice of hard or soft pillows. The bathroom was large, modern, and furnished with all accessories. The free breakfast impressed us, with a larger variety and better quality of items than we usually find in hotels. An attendant was very active, keeping the food area well-stocked. We travel through Morgantown several times a year and have often paid much more and received much less at other hotels. We will be back.”

“Excellent excellent stay!! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Room was very clean with plenty of space, storage and pillows! Room is quiet too and the beds were luxurious. We slept so soundly. Breakfast is included from 6 to 10 am, buffet style, with choice of cereal, yogurt, pastries, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, with rotating breakfast meats and potatoes. Coffee / tea / juice bar included. The dining area is large and comfortable. The hotel is bright and inviting and clean throughout. Plus it is conveniently located to everything including WVU. Highly recommend!!! Thank you.”

“Listen, the hotel itself is awful, minus the rooms. The building design makes zero sense, the exterior looks awful, there’s potholes in the entrance, an area that’s been under renovation for god knows how long, the elevator barely has enough room for the cart, and there are doors held open with zip ties and 3m tape.

Having had fifteen years in hotels, my guess is the owner sees this hotel as nothing more than pocket change and doesn’t spend a dime unless absolutely forced to do so.

That said, the staff was great, the room itself was clean, and it was near where we needed to be at a dirt cheap price.

So we got what we paid for, basically. I can live with that.”
