I had the best experience with the jcp salon. Bonnie did my hair and I love it, she did exactly what I asked for she was a true professional & super nice and the other staff ladies were super nice as well I watched as they worked and they did very good jobs on there clients as well, so from my experience if your looking for someone to take care of your hair needs JCP SALON IN MORGANTOWN WV IS A GREAT PLACE.

I got my haircut there today. I’ve never had layers before but I wanted to give it a try. I never caught the stylists name but she was so sweet to me. She had light blue and pastel hair with shaved sides. She took her time with me, was nice enough to curl the layers for me at the end. The other stylists and people working complimented me on my hair color which made me feel really good. All around was a wonderful experience. They were running a $10 sale and I haven’t had my hair cut in years. I can’t work due to my PTSD from DV but still had a little birthday money left. I decided to treat myself with the last few dollars I had. I feel so beautiful now. I wish I could have tipped more but hopefully this review will get someone’s attention. All your stylists deserve a raise, especially her!

Will not be come back my beautiful long hair is now ruined she cut off way more than I wanted I only wanted and inch off and it’s not even on both sides now paying extra money for it to get fixed by a real hair stylist

I had the pleasure of having Liz do my color and cut today. She did an amazing job, very friendly and super easy to talk to. I already scheduled another visit with her in April. I definitely recommend her.

I will not ever go back or recommend anyone to go there.I ask for a team with no more than 3 inches being cut off. I mean ya gotta cut at least 2 inches off of it to get the split ends. When I got up fromm the chair there was barely any hair on the floor. Not to mention the stylist who works with the public, I don't care what color hair you have but the gaged holes in your ears that could fit a quarter through them, the nose piercings that go all the way across your nose and then the multiple nose rings make you look like a freak. The moment I seen you I was hoping that you were just checking me in not actually cutting "well not cutting" my hair. $25 later and I still need a haircut. There was literally more hair in the brush. After she washed it then what there was on the floor after she cut it. If I could give negative points I would give a -10.

After telling the stylist I wanted all my hair to be the same length, she proceeded to give me layers - making my already fine hair look even thinner and flatter. She said “At this point you might as well get a wig” and asked me if I was “taking any kind of medication.” This is not how you talk to a customer. I cried in my car for 20 minutes afterwards. My hair has never looked this butchered before.Service: Haircut

This salon has went down hill. Went in for a cut the stylist kept stopping and answering the phone. Missed a whole section of my hair. Talked to much. Couldn't style hair very well. I ask for second week of Dec to get another service done. She made it for the 2nd day. I couldn't get her to understand what I meant. I gave up. Went home seen my hair and how she missed a who section. I called to see if I could get it fixed. When I called the other stylist answered the phone by saying hello. I didn't know if I got the right place. I couldn't get ahold of manager. Nobody seemed to know when she would be there. I gave up went to another high end place. It cost me but got a good cut. I won't be back to jc Penney salon

I went there on 9/3 for hair color and 9/24 for a body wave. Between the 2 visits ($500+) a pair of scissors NEVER touched my hair, but I was charged for them. Something went wrong with the perm and my scalp was SCORCHED, I literally had scabs in my head. I went to Smartstyle in Uniontown Pa and the girl had to cut my hair short because there was so much breakage and I didn’t have enough hair in front for bangs because the breakage was so bad. I will NEVER EVER go back there.

The first picture is what I wanted done except the length, I badly needed a cut. The second picture is what I walked out with. I had to go to Ulta and get some Punky Color shampoo in green and black to fix this mess. I wanted layers, didn’t get those either. I had red before this and expect some slightly lightening but this wasn’t want I was expecting. I will not be back. The girl who did my hair was super sweet and nice but other than that….I’ll be coloring my own hair from now on

Hard to figure out when they're open. The hours say 11:00 a.m., JCPenney doesn't open until noon on Sundays. I have no idea what hours anything's open anymore!
