Everyone was very nice and it was a very comfortable atmosphere which helped me a lot because I was extremely anxious

The front desk people and the physician were nice. The first rad tech we had was very rude, but another one came in and she was nice too. My complaint is with the lack of price transparency. Just received a bill for an ankle brace that was $108.17 for a brace that I can purchase at Wal mart for $31.99. Had I been told I would be billed over a hundred dollars for said brace I would have declined and purchased it from wal mart. Wondering why there was such a high upcharge.

Very polite staff. Doctor was great and very informative; did a simple procedure to relieve my pain. Wait time was very short also.

Appointment time doesn't matter apparently, even when you're the first one there.

If I could rate this 0/5 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. As a school teacher, with multiple college degrees, after working a long day at the school, finding out my father-in-law was diagnosed with a terminal disease, and feeling absolutely awful with whatever was clogging my ears, hurting my throat, and making me wheeze, I attempted to go to the doctor closest to me instead of my primary care physician across town. Upon walking in, I was greeted kindly by a lady behind a desk who informed me that I needed to sign in on a kiosk and I would be sent a link to my cell phone to register to be seen. I obliged and then sat down once the link was sent. As I began, it asked me to upload images of my insurance card, both sides, which I needed my husband to send me pictures of the actual card as he had it with him. Next, I began adding in all of my information. At this point, the lady behind the desk asks kindly if I am doing okay. I said yes, I am, I just had to get this information from my husband as he was at home packing to go tend to his father. She apologized that she couldn’t do it for me as it is COMPANY POLICY and they are not permitted to do it for people. I said I understand, (I am perfectly competent and have held federal jobs so I spend hours typing and researching without issue) and return to the registration where on the next screen, it asks me to upload my ID. This was the final straw. I got up, politely told the lady that I could not handle this today and she offered to help. She is not permitted according to COMPANY POLICY, but saw my distress and offered to help. I refused and walked out, still very ill, very upset and very resolute to never darken the door of an Urgent Care run by UPMC again. Save your money, save your time and go somewhere with customer service who aren’t trying to phase out the front desk associate. I have always valued UPMC Hospitals for major issues, but if this is the direction you are trending, I hope you re-evaluate your priorities. I don’t even bother to write Amazon reviews but this felt worthy of a mention because others should know what reality to expect when they are looking for support in a time of need. It is definitely not here.

Easy registration/check in. The best receptionist/secretary. Kind knowledgeable staff. Quick. In & out.

They have went downhill since switching from MedExpress to UPMC. We did an online appointment so I didn’t have to sit in the waiting room forever with a sick kiddo. They literally took WALK INs back before us that came in after we had already checked in. What is the point on requesting an online appointment to get seen faster when they don’t even honor it? I would give them 0 stars if I could.

The staff were all incredibly helpful and accommodating. The nurse practitioner I saw was very knowledgeable, understanding and thorough. I was in pain and the x-ray tech was very understanding, helped me with my clothes for the x-ray and the NP helped me take my necklace off. Amazing experience, just what a person needs when they aren't feeling well. 10/10...highly recommend!

In that much pain they made me laugh and were so kind and nice. The nurses were perfect and the np put me at ease with his knowledge and professional demeanor. We got there after 730 and with x rays and everything they were patient and kind and I never felt rushed. They made a very bad situation tolerable

The staff actually care about you here! They truly want the best for you and it shows from the moment you walk in. The environment is clean. They have hot tea in the waiting room:) I left feeling like they did everything they could to help me and I appreciate it so much!

Thank the staff so much! They sent me to the ER immediately where I was able to have the surgery I needed to get my appendix out. I'm very thankful for them

Just tried to go in for a drug test that needs done within 3 days. I have work 9-3 everyday this week but went RIGHT after work and got there around 3:20 and they told me that I have 3 more days and to come back before 3. Like thank you so much I ran my gas there for nothing. I’m beyond annoyed and frustrated. I barely have enough money for gas so this might not seem like a big deal but it is for me. I wasted my time and money. Once again thank you guys so much for absolutely nothing!

I should've listened to the other reviews. They not only denied my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield but they also billed me just shy of $500. $250 of which is a new patient fee. I will not be returning.

Before they did anything I explained to them I was self pay and did not want any additional charges for the visit and they assured me I was only paying 199.00...they did nothing and didn't even know what was wrong with me.They gave me 3 Tylenol and a shot of Toradol for pain and charged me almost 700.00..then they said they wanted to take a blood draw and I said as long as it's included and they said it was.I just recieved an additional bill from lab Corp for over 300 more dollars for absolutely nothing...I will be disputing these charges through an attorney. When I called they were nothing but rude and laughing about it over the phone and told me to call billing which was very useless like they are. This place is very deceiving and will rip you off.She even called me back just to try to talk some more trash but got told about her pompous thieving self again and hung up on.They didn't even let me pay my bill on the way out like they were supposed to. They brought in an unnecessary wheel chair and literally wheeled me out the back door so I couldnt pay my bill..I wasnt even sick.No cough. No nothing.it was all about them ripping me off.I will never go back to this money racket again.

Literally the nicest urgent care I've been to! Everyone was very sweet and I didn't have to wait long at all.
