Staff is nice here and that's why I'm giving two stars. However, I am BEGGING that you correct your housing situation for the guinea pigs immediately. They should at least be in the same type of cages that the ferrets are in. It is actually sickening to see them put in the same cages you house gerbils and mice in. In what world should those cage sizes be the same? That's like sticking a fully grown adult into a crib and being like 'well they technically fit'. I came in to get some pellets for my own guinea pigs and refused to buy anything from here after seeing that. Their hide takes up about 1/4th of the space as well.
They have no space to run around, popcorn, socialize. This behavior is essential for their well being. They are social animals that love to play with each other. They don't even have the space to attempt. And you can tell they are distressed because they literally don't move. If you told me that they were dead, I'd seriously believe it. I have pigs myself and they are constantly zooming around, jumping up, rumbling at each other, wheeking, etc... If they lay in their hide, its for like 5 minutes at most before they come back out to play again. I was in store for about 20 minutes (mentally forming this review) and they were just lying completely still making zero noise the whole time. It was disturbing.
The cages you sell for new guinea pig owners are double the size of how you're currently housing them. This is animal abuse and should have been fixed yesterday. FIX THIS NOW.

Wasn't able to find the eternal wipes we were looking for. The clerk at the register area was very helpful, and she realized someone had placed a different item on top of them.
We purchased what we needed.

Friendly staff, well stocked, pets looked happy and ready for their new homes! This is the only place I can find the specific food for my dog.

Save your time and money and go to Petsmart instead. The groomers there are more kind, more knowledgeable, and care more about pets.

We love taking our Elkhound here for grooming. They are so patient and understanding that Rudy is a rescue. Very affordable and he gets a little spa day in! Other PetCo staff are very helpful when it comes to discussing product and navigating the store!

my favorite place to get my dog & cat treats / food. anything but food is overpriced so i would recommend going walmart or another store for your other needs (toys, cat trees, scratching posts, animal beds, etc) i also always love checking out the animals they have in store!

I found what I came in for rather quickly.?
I had a question about Rewards Points, cashier stated he was new and not sure but he would get me help. ?The manager was able to answer my question.? Spoke with Pet Trainer briefly to update on our pet's recent adventures, we used Training services with Josh last year and were very pleased!!??

It offers the essentials but the selection of live animals is limited. Also, prices are OK but not always the best.

Horrible experience we adopted a young guinea pig and got her home right away she showed some symptoms of respiratory illness we took her back 2 days after we had gotten her she was lethargic and couldn't stand showing severe respiratory illness and my daughter took her back to get vet checked in store. They assured her that the guinea pig would bounce back and said they would contact us after she got checked out and promptly took the guinea pig in our carrier into the back. That was on a Tuesday I believe and by the following week I still had not heard from them so we drove the 45 mins to the store to see what was going on. I get in there and they tell me the pig was euthanized and was beyond saving (I was instantly heart broken) and then said I could adopt another if I wanted I said no thank you because if one was that I'll I didn't want another sick guinea pig to devastate my kids more than they already were. So then I asked them for my carrier and she told me they returned it to my daughter I told her my daughter only got the dish and water bottle back but our carrier was not returned she then walked around all the registers very smugly and told me theyd call me when they found it. It's been over 3 weeks I'm out a guinea pig my kids are still horribly sad over and they also took my carrier and never returned it. So now I'm in the negative and over 2hours of driving back and forth I don't think I will ever adopt from them again and I will not recommend them to anyone as well . RIP little Basil ??
