Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location. The customer service was nonexistent for me, when I visited on 8/17/2025. If you value customer service O recommend trying a different location. Or just do like me and place an order online and have it shipped.

Guess it’s normal for employees to sit on the counter on their phones instead of speaking to the customers. they’re always sold out of my size too.

Was at the Beckley store 8/13/2024 the guy Sam was very helpful polite and was my daughter level when picking out shoes I would rate his service top 10 out of 10

Just hire a whole new management staff at this point. Not once have I ever had a good experience in this store, the lack of professionalism is astounding. The assistant manager is rude and completely ignored me last time I was in store because her phone was obviously more important. Didn’t even get a greeting. I’ll just order online from here on out.

WAAAAAY too pushy. Tried going there last week for a new pair of shoes, they tried to force me to buy an ugly pack of socks, waterproof shoe spray, etc. They don’t know how to accept no as an answer. The store manager (Erica Black) is rude and stuck up. No wonder they can’t keep people hired.

Got these Birkenstocks (my favorites) for a Mother’s Day gift and broke couple months later but Journey's does not back their shoes ! Never had this happen with Birkenstocks but apparently these type do this often , perhaps sale them at a lower price then!

Went in for spongebob shoes, they didn’t have the size so I was going to move on to look else where. The woman tried pushing plain yellow shoes on me.. which were not spongebob so I turned them down. She then says she can order them online there to be shipped to my house. Goes makes the order, doesn’t take down my email. I get the receipt and start waiting on my shoes to be delivered. Have waited about 2 weeks and decided to look up my order to find out it says canceled. I reached out to them online and they say they are out of stock.. pretty much been out of stock so we were never going to get the shoes and no one reaching out. Now have a check being mailed to me. So the woman lied knowing they were out of stock and tried ordering them anyways. The woman was so pushy I felt like I couldn’t breathe. I get customer service and all but she was extreme at pushing people into things and she lied. I love journeys as a whole but the young girl that works at ours down at the crossroads mall makes them look bad.

The woman working went above and beyond to help my granddaughter find something she loved because they did not have her size in stock. Will be back to shop soon
