The staff are friendly and the store does it's best considering the cost of food these days.....you will probably pay more here than the big stores! The reason they get a three instead of four star rating is their meat department has drastically gotten worse over the last month...that was a main reason why I shopped there more....however I will still shop local as much as possible!

They are very nice and they try to keep the prices as cheap as they can with the economy going up so much they are cheaper than walmart on the items i buy

Cashier was very helpful but system for check out was frustrating for customers as well as cashier although she handle it with patience and care.

This is the best kept secret in the area ! The prices are affordable, the staff are above and beyond amazing, the store is easy to navigate in and they have a very wide variety of foods and goods. I won’t shop anywhere is else .

You will never find a larger selection of fresh, fantastic cuts or a better priced meat department in the Kanawha Valley. Nitro Supermarket is so awesome.
