“I was traveling through the state, in the rain of course, when my driver side windshield wiper blade started coming apart while driving. So I googled and found this place. My only complaint was the time I had to wait to be waited on, but the poor guy was by himself and was trying to multitask between a phone customer he was on with when I walked in and the store. When he did get to me, he was very friendly and very helpful! He found my correct wiper blade and even put it on for me, in the rain, which was greatly appreciated! I can't fault the guy for being by himself as he worked hard to get to everyone as quickly and friendly as possible! He fixed me up and I was back on the road again - this time I could actually see! ?”

“I’d like to throw a shout-out to James.
My son and I had been climbing at the NRG over the weekend and early Sunday morning we both had to head back home. My son was heading back to North Carolina and I was heading up to Maine, or so I thought. My vehicle’s battery was dead. My son gave me a ride to Walmart (they open at 6:00), where I bought a battery and then after installing it, I decided to check the alternator, just in case. Well, the alternator was bad and the closest auto parts store was AutoZone in Oak Hill, Store #1112, (which opens at 9:00). The store promptly opened at 9:00 and James who was cleaning around the register asked me, “How can I help you today,” (and little did I know how much help I would need). I told him my story and he quickly brought me out an alternator and then asked several questions to verify that I knew what I was doing. I bought the alternator and headed to the parking lot to work on my RAV4. Twice he walked out to check up on me but it was the second time where he saw that I needed help (two man job). So he reached into that crowded compartment with me and because of his encouragement, patience and insightful mechanical skills I was able to get that stubborn serpentine belt on the alternator!!! Yea Baby! He did a battery/alternator check, gave me thumbs up and Boom, I was ready for my 900 mile journey back home.
If James is representative of the kind of people that live in Oak Hill, WV, then this a great little American town.
