Took my truck over there during the summer. Dropped it off told them what needed to be done and told them no hurry as my wife and I have a couple other vehicles to drive. I really didn't need the truck so no problem if it took a month or so to get it back. Three months later I hadn't heard a peep from them. Tried calling back and no answer. Phone was either busy(off the hook) or no one answered. I finally did get in touch with the woman that takes their calls. I asked her how the truck was going, I haven't heard from you guys. She proceeded to tell me that they hadn't even looked at the truck yet. I said why not?!?! She said they were really busy and short handed, and a couple other excuses. She then proceeded to tell me they had lost the paper where they had diagnosed the problems with the truck, so needed me to tell her again what it needed. Mind you I had a list, nothing major but a list of stuff I wanted them to do. After we got that figured out she proceeded to tell me she would talk with the boss, the guy that owned the shop and call me back. I never got a call back. After another month or so I called again. Same result. Nobody answering the phone. After a couple days of trying I did talk to the woman again. Oh, and they don't have an answering machine, probably a good thing because of the messages I was going to leave. Anyway, she told me once again they didn't even look at my truck. I said make sure my tires are inflated and my battery isn't dead. I'm coming to get the truck. I got to the shop, got my keys walked to my truck and noticed one side of the hood was popped up a little bit. Wasn't there before I dropped it off. I popped the hood and they had left one of my LED fog lamp bulbs laying in the hood track. It wasn't closing properly. I removed it and was pissed but decided just to get the hell out of there. I had one fog lamp out and they were going to replace it, so they must have started working on the list of stuff that needed done. I get the truck home and park it. A couple days of the truck being home I decided to take it out for a drive. I moved the truck and noticed oil under the rear end of the truck. The truck didn't leak a drop of anything before I took it there. It was coming from the rear end. That was something else that was on the list for them to look at and diagnose. I dropped the truck off the beginning of August and picked it back up the end of November and it is in worse shape than it was when I took it there. I will never recommend this shop to anyone for any reason. Good luck if decide to choose Griffs auto. May the Lord be with you.

I was really impressed with my service at Griffs. I had been trying to fix an engine issue on my old ford truck for months, and I was worried it was something serious ($Expensive$). They diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in 24hrs. Turned out to be something simple that I just overlooked! They will now be the first people I call if I have any more issues, and I would recommend them to anyone. A++

Griffs is the only place in town I trust to work on my cars, and he is the ONLY person I recommend when I am asked. The work is solid, the diagnosis analysis is solid, and they also look around and will let you know if they see something you should be aware of.

The woman at the desk is thee most honest and down to earth woman (or person really) I've ever come across at an auto shop of any kind. I came to them after a TERRIBLE experience at another local transmission shop. I didn't receive the best news but they were atleast honest and didnt have me throwing money down in a pit for no apparent reason just for them to make money. Front desk people are the heart of a business....when you have a pleasant helpful honest person running your place of business it makes people want to come back and this place has that along with wonderful mechanics who looked over things for me before I purchased a car and they didn't even charge. If I could give more stars they'd get them ❤️

Unfortunately, I do not seem to be able to give less than one star, they don’t deserve one star. I had my truck towed to them on a Wednesday and was told it would be diagnosed by Friday. 4 weeks later they still could not tell me when they would be able to look at it. I had it towed away. Horrible receptionist, communication, as to work I have no idea. I thought I had used this shop years ago but apparently it is not the same place/owner as the one that was previously in Parkersburg near the hospital.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had a vehicle out of commission for months with a blown engine control fuse from a shorted wire somewhere. Had a few different people look at it, finally towed it to griffs, in just 10 min of just diagnosing it they had found the bare wires that were shorting out and had it running. I left my jeep there for them to rewire that section and in 24hrs they already called to come pick it up and charged me a very reasonable price! Very knowledgable and seem honestServices: Electrical
