Kroger is a small grocery store that serves the local community, offering everything needed for daily shopping. Staff members, like those in the dairy department, are friendly and helpful, especially for new customers. However, the store often faces issues with long lines at the registers, especially in the evening when there are not enough employees to handle the checkout demands. Customers have expressed frustration about the need for better training on bagging groceries and avoiding cross-contamination, as mishandling can lead to damaged or contaminated food. Some shoppers feel that prices are high since Kroger is the only store in town, leading to a lack of competition and higher costs. Despite these issues, the store's convenience and friendly staff make it a necessary stop for local residents, as traveling farther for groceries would mean more time and expense.
They are great here unless you come in right around what time they close the store. Tthemmctthey are hateful and they will stand. In a line staring at you until you've paid for your groceries. It was very unprofessional and very rude.
