Not enough staff

My visit to this location fell short of my expectations. Trading in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for an iPhone 16 Pro was a nightmare. I won’t go into details (I don’t have enough time or space), but Anthony’s business practices are very deceptive. I strongly advise you to avoid this location. Do anything you need to do online or at a different location.

Clifton at the Ranson store was amazing!! I have had this phone service for over 10 years. I have always been told I have to call or do something online. I went in, spoke with Clifton and he took care of every issue I had... yes small issues, but he handled everything quick, easy and efficient. We even purchased a new phone and still was in and out with in 1 hour. He was by himself and never made us feel like we were a burden. And he was busy with multiple customers.
Thank you so much!

Kaleb did an excellent job assisting me. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He listened and answered all questions I had. I was in and out of the store in less than an hour with a new phone.

Xavien was professional, kind, personable, and helpful. And while my visit lasted over 3 hours, everyone in the store was kind and never made me feel like I was a burden or a waste of their precious time. They were patient and took time to help and explain along the way. Really the best experience I have ever had at an att store. The crew you have working there, especially Xavien, is top notch. Please recognize them and praise them appropriately with the recognition they deserve for their outstanding customer service. They are top tier and nothing short of the perfect example of how customers should be treated.

My 89-year-old cousin with memory problems has had two cell phones for a year that she never uses and does not know how to use. I decided to help her close these accounts that were charging her debit card every month. I first called consumer Cellular and explained the problem. They were very sympathetic and closed the account within 10 minutes. I then went to this AT&T retail store with all the details including phone number and account number. My cousin was also there with her driver's license to prove who she was. AT&T tried every trick possible to block me from closing the account. They played their version of donkey Kong. After 3 hours, I think we may have had success. Only time will tell. Beware of AT&T. They are a very bad company and practice their own version of elder abuse.

The three folks at the AT&T store were awesome! I'm and older person and I have a hard time with new technology and all that stuff (I even miss my old rotary phone! :). Anyway, these folks were kind, patient, courteous, and did not make me feel like a fool. I've been going to this AT&T store for a long time now and will always visit when I need to trade in or upgrade or whatever.

The guy greeted me immediately. He listened to my issue and immediately starting working on it. He gave me a couple suggestions to do if the new SIM card didn't fix my issue and sent me on my way. He was very friendly and extremely helpful. He understood exactly what I was trying to explain.
I've always had a good experience at the AT&T Store in Ranson, WV.

To whoever the gross human that worked Monday, 3/11, 2024 at 7:30pm is: Take a shower, learn how to be SOMEWHAT professional (ie don't wear a tie-dye hoodie, get a haircut, make eye contact, etc.).
This man (or woman) refused to help me with anything (trying to buy an $800 Apple Watch to help me monitor my heart) and he (or she) flat out refused to help me in any way. He (or she) said "if you don't like it, you can try another store." I am on a Veteran's discount with AT&T and I am HIGHLY considering going elsewhere due to this interaction.
Shame on whoever hired this clown.
World of Warcraft will be there when your shift is over.
Next day update: Went to a different store and had a total of zero issues.

After being basically turned away at the store in the retail commons in martinsburg we came over to this location to see if maybe they would be able to help us at a different location. All of the things we set out to accomplish were handled at this location. Would give five stars if I had received the email with the tracking information for my new phone. But over all at this store it was a good experience

Absolutely HORRIBLE store. Unscrupulous employees. Go to any other AT&T retail store. Not this one. If you choose to go here anyway, study your bill carefully before walking out the door. Get bill both emailed AND PRINTED while at the store.
