I agree with the double five stars, this one deserves it!!The Inn is so cozy, very tidy, and generous with snacks. Sabrina is a wonderful host, kind and thoughtful, even asking about and accommodating diet considerations. Great conversation when she joined me for breakfast!! Make sure to save room for the homemade fudge her husband makes!

What a treat!!! The only place we will ever stay when near the area. This place could not have been more charming or accommodating. Steve & Sabrina are true gems and prepare a lovely breakfast & make you feel at home. Thank you both so much! We can’t wait to come back :)

This place was phenomenal. I needed a night to myself. Away from life and kids and work. I just needed a place to go to recharge. I am a busy mother of six thar doesn't stop. So I snuck away and found this jewel. And they pampered me rotten. The inn was beautiful and relaxing. I sunk into the bed that night and slept so peacefully. I awoke to a huge delicious breakfast. Probably the best I'd had in years. The hosts were wonderful conversationalist, welcoming and informative. There is a river front park nearby, a coffee shop and restaurants. This is officially my little hideaway if i need to just take a break. I will definitely be back.

If I were able to double the number of stars I would. The Inn is beautiful, clean, accommodating, especially comfortable and walking distance from the heart of town. Breakfasts are top notch and cookies, coffee and tea are available night and day. A swing and rockers on the front porch make for easy chillin' time. The Inn Keepers are so attentive to every need and great at discussing area trivia history. I don't think it is possible to stay anywhere away from home and feel more welcome and at home. Love this place.

Wonderful B&B in Ravenswood. Very good location, can walk to the Ohio River, lots of history in the Inn, very good food and wonderful owners/host Stephen and Sabrina. Much better option than the hotels in Ripley.

I grew up in the 'Wood from 1966 to 1979, but hadn't been back since then. For various reasons I re-visited from 7/28 to 8/1/2022. I was *so* impressed and pleased by my stay that I extended it a night. The history, ambiance, breakfast quality (OMG the bacon!), and especially the hospitality were better than I've ever experienced, and I've stayed in a few B&Bs over the years. I want to go back soon! Thanks Steve and Sabrina for a fabulous visit!

What a wonderful find! My husband and I recently stayed at the inn for a week. We loved the the warm and inviting feel of the B & B and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and relaxing on the front porch. The owners were very accommodating and it was a pleasure getting to know them. I highly recommend the Ravenswood Inn and have already booked my return stay.

This was my wife and I’s second time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. If I knew they would all be like Ravenswood Bed & Breakfast, I would stay at more of them! The owners were awesome, had fresh cookies waiting for us!!!! He gave us a tour of the home, the history and information on a lot of the decorations and other things in the house. He also gave us history of the area and told us a lot about the big flood in West Virginia’s past. My wife loved the old “claw foot” bathtub which was perfect for her to relax in after 450 miles on a motorcycle. Our room was very nice and the bed was super comfortable! The breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, biscuits and hash browned potatoes! I wish we would have been able to stay more than one night to enjoy the home and town more!A word of caution though….. you will leave with your cheeks and sides hurting from laughing so much! Our host was full of jokes and one liners!Highly recommend Ravenswood Inn Bed and Breakfast and if we are back in the area, we will definitely be staying here!

This is a little late but we stayed here for a night in August and it was amazing! We were very happy Steve and Sabrina were willing to accept our later arrival time without any issues whatsoever. Steve made us feel welcome right away. He offered and we accepted a tour of the home which we HIGHLY recommend. We settled on a time for breakfast, were given several great local suggestions for dinner, and were left to explore and relax at our leisure. The room was spotless clean, light blocking curtains, and comfy bed. The bathroom was obviously cleaned well, had fresh clean towels, toiletries if needed, and had little pieces of history to discover if you take a look around. Next morning, we came down to an amazing breakfast! We are breakfast people and this made it on the list of one of the best we’ve had and it included as much local sourced items as possible which was a bonus! While we ate we had a blast talking with Steve and Amy! Getting to know each other and laughing was the best part of the visit! It was a great time and we could’ve hung out a lot longer but, this is on our list to return to in the future! We HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a place to remember that’s clean, great food, and even better hosts/people, you won’t be disappointed!!

My daughter and I were on a road trip from California, and we absolutely loved our stay in September at the Inn. The Inn is in a historic Ohio Valley house in the small town of Ravenswood, and has three guest rooms. We had the Captain's Quarters and the First Mate's Quarters (the other is the Crewman's Quarters). We wondered about the nautical theme in a landlocked state like WV, but the owners explained the property was once the home of a riverboat captain, and the Ohio River is just a few blocks away. It was immediately apparent that the owners take great pride in the property and in providing the highest level of hospitality. I tend to be on the lookout for cleanliness first, and this place is spotless - the floors, bathrooms, guest rooms, kitchen, public areas, and, even, the garden - nothing was overlooked in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. The beds were extremely comfortable (I was told the mattresses are locally made), the rooms quiet, and the breakfast was amazing (everything was fresh, and there was way more than we could finish). We sat out on the porch swing in the evening and greeted the locals walking by. The owners have deep roots in WV and the local area, and have many cool family stories about the house and ideas for things to do. They are warm and welcoming, but are also sensitive to giving guests space and privacy to relax and just hang out. We also discovered that Ravenswood is a lovely place to bike, walk, and explore. Most of the roads are fairly flat, quiet, and free of traffic. There is a nearby park along the river where there is often a Mexican food truck and local musicians jamming bluegrass and mountain tunes. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer, since we had to get up to WVU for a campus visit. However, we had such a great experience that we’re sure we’ll be visiting the Inn again soon.

This is a very nice clean comfortable Inn. It has comfortable lounging spaces. They also offer excellent customized breakfasts to your dietary requirements. The people that run the Inn are very very nice.
