My wife and I and family visited the Hatfield Cemetery. Right up the road from the cemetery is this museum/gift shop. We stopped at it out of curiosity.
The original Hatfield house is no longer standing. They do have some photographs of the house and of the original Hatfields and the actual well used by the Hatfields is still there.
There is also a small place to get food and a decent souvenir shop and museum. The museum was closed when we were there for some reason. The souvenir shop is actually pretty cool with a lot of neat Hatfield memorabilia available.
I bought a t-shirt. It was 20 bucks so I didn't think that was actually too bad of a price considering. The lady behind the counter was very courteous and personable.
Bottom line is if you visit the cemetery you might as well stop in. 👍👍👍👍

My husband and I visited the museum on our way to see the Hatfield Family Cemetary. We really enjoyed talking to Jack, a descendant of Devil Anse Hatfield. The museum had some very cool artifacts and information about the Hatfield family during and after the time of the feud. We highly recommend!

Myself and a group were out riding the trails and rode to the cemetery and stopped at the museum on the way back , definitely a interesting place. Also very nice people who went out of their way to go back out and put food on the grill jus for our group. Would definitely like to see what the future holds for this place . Jack Sr and Jack Jr both very nice guys .

This is a very special place. We were on our way to Devil Anses grave when we passed by this museum and we had to stop! Deep in the West Virginia hills we were greeted with a smile and we enjoyed every minute we were there. The museum is so awesome inside and the curator was so friendly and inviting. I can’t believe we actually met the grandson of Devil Anse Hatfield! We had so much fun. It was so awesome! The quality of the museum was exquisite, you can tell the pride that’s been taken in keeping the Hatfield McCoy story alive. If you’re close, you have to stop by and the Hatfield Graveyard is only seconds away!
