A doctor that will actually listen and talk to you? They still make those? Yup. I'm 40 years old and have had a lot of family doctors in the various places I've lived. Doctor Akins is the best one I've ever had, and it's not even close. The only thing that could improve my visits here would be a live band or a Taco bar. Beyond that, keep doing what you do.

I just moved here and I don't understand a lot of things doctors put you on medication for a reason but when you move to a different state it's a different story I wasn't even given a chance was denied to see this doctor to all it done make a person feel very helpless depressed you want to just give up totally what happened to doctors today I was recommended to him and that's the sad depressing one reason why I lost faith in doctors period had children when in was told " oh your pregnant " out the door I went until it was time to have but then you had an accident your at the mercy of a doctor and truly I wish I could get that day back

I've lived from coast to coast and Dr. Akins is, by far, the best doctor I've ever had. He never made me feel rushed. He's listened intently to every concern I had and proven himself to be a genuinely caring and competent physician. I cannot recommend him enough. If you don't live close to his office, he's worth the drive.His staff has also been great and extremely helpful. All good people.

Dr Akins is by far the best doctor I’ve been to. He always listens & gives options. He never pushes anything & is very knowledgeable about everything I’ve been to him about thus far. If you’re looking for a new doctor I highly highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akins for several years and have been very happy with the health care I have received. He listens carefully, explains things very thoroughly and makes every effort to diagnose any problems as efficiently as possible ! I highly recommend his services to anyone ! :)

I've never had long waits in the waiting room like other doctors. When I need an appointment he will see me without having to wait several days like other doctors. The staff is friendly and very proficient. He explains things to me and I never feel like he is rushing me through. He is a good doctor and patently listeners to me.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Dr. Akins so it’s ashame that his receptionists are extremely rude and clearly have no professionalism. I NEVER have Been treated so poorly at a doctors office in my life which is why I refused to give Dr. Akins my business. I wouldn’t recommend going here. The receptionist constantly mess up scripts and not only that, they don’t try to fix their mistakes. They do not care about the patients.
