I signed up for a storage unit here a couple months ago and in the process the storage facility was bought out by a larger company. Since then they have closed the onsite office and there is little oversight at the facility with a person coming from a Martinsburg office once a day to check on the facility during the week. Additionally it is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone as all calls are now directed to a call center nowhere near the facility with people that have no knowledge of the location or your unit. Email response is also slow or non existent. Clear example of a corporate buyout with the quality going down in response. I advise against storing your stuff here unless you’re okay with no presence onsite and inability to get ahold of people when you need them.
Update: The corporate office commented on this review and provided an email address which I responded to - and have not responded to taken any action since. They commented only to make it look like they would, and of course have not followed through.

Sensational. Very clean facility and the staff was courteous and informative. Answered all questions and provided clear directions for all of my storage needs.

New to the area and just recently rented a unit from this company. Their storage fees were fair and more importantly their customer service was excellent. Hard to find people who are actually good at talking to people and want there business. Now I sound old, lol.

It’s great if you’re a college student with roommates that need a place to store their things over the summer! It’s clean with surveillance and the service is AMAZING. I ended up cleaning out the service unit and a few days later when I called to cancel, they had already checked me out because they noticed that I removed my things and took the lock off.Overall, I highly recommend it!

We live in Southern Maryland and our daughter attends Shepherd University. We decided to get a storage unit at the end of last semester, so that we wouldn't have to take everything back to MD and then transport it all back to the University for the start of the Fall semester. Valley Storage was perfect, as it's so close to the school. It was nice to have everything right there, when we moved my daughter back in to her dorm. It was also nice to have so many unit sizes to choose from. We will definitely be back at the end of the Spring semester.
