On street parking worked OK. We saw a film Best of Enemies.

A great intimate venue in Shepherdstown, great acoustics and surprisingly comfortable seats. A great place to experience live performances, and near some of the best restaurants and shops in town.

Closed for renovation. Anticipated opening in late summer 2022. Keep your eyes on this one folks. The owner is a very creative and forward thinker. This theater will be quite the gem.
The Shepherdstown Opera House opened in 1910 to present vaudeville performances and silent films. We continue this tradition in 2023, programming an eclectic mix of live music, movies, and performance acts. Our family-owned & operated theater is an intimate and friendly venue and we've just completed a multi-year top-to-bottom renovation to provide an amazing experience for artists and audience alike. Shepherdstown, West Virginia is a short drive from Baltimore & Washington DC. The town, home to Shepherd University, supports a rich artistic and creative culture, and still retains its historic 18th/19th century character.
