Totally unprofessional. Stylist canceled my appointment 5 times within the same week and ultimately did not show up to my appointment. When I called to reschedule, the receptionist yelled down the phone. Do not go here!

I notice most of the reviews are from a year or more ago. Perhaps ownership has changed; I found this more of a co-op staging area for wannabe hairdressers who drop in, or not; there is no receptionist, no reliable scheduler, phone is rarely answered. I had two excellent haircuts previously from S., a Shepherd student who told me she has a limited schedule, which I understand. When I finally got someone to answer the phone to schedule the next haircut, I was given a date and time. I received three text reminders over the next few days, drove 40 minutes and got there on time, but S. was nowhere to be found. A very rude guy snipped at me that he had nothing to do with S. and couldn't help me. Then I got a text from S. saying she was not working that day, asking if I could come back on Saturday or Sunday. I am really ticked off, but at the same time disappointed because she had done a good job. Now I need to find a "real" hair salon that is actually a business I can count on.Service: Haircut

Danielle transformed my hair today!!! I got extensions done by her and she made me feel so pretty again, well worth the price point, a true professional from my consultation in the beginning to the very end. I HIGHLY recommend her, I have serious anxiety issues and she was so kind, understanding, non judgey and made me feel so comfortable, she’s stuck with me for life now!! Lol The salon itself is very cute and relaxing which is everything, vibes were good, stylist was great!!! 10/10 will be back!Service: Hairstyling

I’ve been a client at Roots a few times but it’s nearly impossible to get them to answer the phone to book an appointment. Spent two hours today calling back but only getting a voicemail. Guess they don’t need the business… which is good because it’s highly improbable they will get mine. I don’t need to work this hard to give someone my business.

Had an excellent experience with Shelby for cut and balayage. Color and tones were spot on, very natural and blended perfectly. My previously crispy fried locks left with a fresh new look and feel.
