Everything arrived unbroken! Our movers were nice guys and they were the same guys who drove across the country and unloaded. Very expensive but I guess that’s just the going rate. The guys disassembled and reassembled our beds so we had a place to sleep that same night. We paid almost $18k to move a 3 bedroom house from Maryland to California.

Of all the moves we have made over many years, this was absolutely the most unprofessional and devastating damage to almost 100% of everything transported. Daughter was never provided a day of loading invoice identifying each item being moved. At delivery time is when they provided a list that had been manufactured at a warehouse identifying any supposed previous damage. The salesman guaranteed all furniture would be carefully wrapped in pads and plastic to prevent any damage. Unfortunately that was not the case. 95% of the boxes were severely crushed and many had belongings exposed. The loading of the goods was as poor as you could possibly get. Metal stacked on un-padded antique wood furniture. Too much damage to describe in this review. We have so many pictures of the goods damaged and their terrible loading for transport.
We are in the process of filing an extensive claim for the amount of damage.
We would not recommend using this company.

I requested a moving quote through Allied Van Lines’ website, and shortly afterward began receiving a high volume of automated calls, sometimes up to 25 in a single day. The calls were silent when answered, and voicemails left were identical and unhelpful. I hadn’t signed up for ongoing contact or services, and this felt intrusive and excessive. I was only able to stop the calls after reaching out to customer service directly.
The company itself might offer good service, I can’t say, since I never actually did business with them. But this aggressive outreach made me decide not to pursue them further. I would advise others to be cautious when sharing their contact information.

We chose Central Van and Storage (Allied Van Lines) to move our household 350 miles from WV to VA. They were professional, efficient and very flexible with our requests during the entire process. We would definitely recommend this company for long distance moving!

I have not had the opportunity to examine my items in storage for damage completely but the moving experience was overall accomplished smoothly at a reasonable cost.

The men did an excellent job packing & loading all the household furniture. It made our move less stressful for us. Would definitely recommend the company for anyone that needs the service.

The movers complained about where I wanted things for no reason. If it was a fitting issue I would have 100% understood. They also didn't care about scuffing floors/furniture and recently painted walls. I will not use them in the future.

I would not recommend with so many better options in PA. The place I chose in PA, was $3500 less than this company. My Story: I was quoted a price about 6 months before my move, after selling a few things I was told it would cost me more money to rerun the numbers than to calculate the lower weight of my stuff. They only guess the weight and amount of packing that they will do...and they want 100% upfront (big red flag). Poor customer service as I had many ignored emails and phone calls. Again, I do not recommend.
