Highly recommend any new small dealer just starting to stay away from these crooks. There fee’s are insane, like they almost make it a point to see what they can get away with. But what ended up doing it for me was a green light truck that was 37,000$. Had engine noise transmission issues. They declined my arbitration OF COURSE as they don’t stand behind any of their green light vehicles. They have so many loop holes in their own made up “Arbitration rule book” it’s pathetic. I took the truck to a local ford dealer had it confirmed the engine was junk and so was the trans… still NOTHING basically was told tough luck. This auction is designed to be dishonest and pass junk vehicles through. If you’re bidding here it’s only a matter of time before you get burnt SEVERELY. I can’t tell you how many times we were double charged for vehicle delivery and not refunded as well. Take your chances and you will find your self reading this review and agreeing with everything I have said!!!

I strongly advise new buyers to stay away from Mountain State Auto Auction. This place does not care about new customers, only the dealers they already have relationships with.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues, and every time, no one takes responsibility or tries to make things right. They sold me a car with bad engine and refused to do the PSI, even though I called and specifically requested it.
Their lack of accountability and customer service is unbelievable. If you value honesty and fair treatment, do yourself a favor and avoid this auction completely.

Easy room and quick process for drop off in lot past gate. Nice workers. No porta potty in view but my dogs got some grass.

The fees are so inconsistent, if you think you won the vechile cheap they will add a ton of fees to make up the difference in price they want. Example want a truck for 13k, fees 800 dollars, won a truck for 16k, fees 500 dollars. I won mulitple vechiles in one day, some cheaper, some not. After all fees, all the vechile came out to be same price, so you don't get the good deal your think your getting.

2nd time same problem, called accounting department and vehicle was ready to be picked up, they said gatepass was being sent to guard shack, driver got there, no gatepass. With all strict regulations we have to follow (ELD) this is very disrespectful.

Arbitration is absolute joke… They never accept accountability and don’t even do the PSI’s they charge you for.. I refuse to do business with them until they replace the arbitration manager. Which I doubt they ever will because he makes them tons of money by NEVER paying a arb claim.

$700+ buy fee on a $12k car is obscene. CR's are barely accurate and they aren't willing to help when you need to arbitrate due to their indiligence. Dishonest auction run by dishonest folks.
