This place was a 10/10! The employees were amazing, the rentals were a good price, and the atmosphere was out of this world! I am not one to make reviews but I feel as if this place DESERVED it. We rented our equipment on a Wednesday and was renting them for 2 days. We were told we could return them Saturday morning before 10 am, which we were fine with. Unfortunately, the day of, our truck was stuck on the mountain with a broke brake line and we couldn’t leave anywhere. I called the Ski Barn multiple times to let three know we were going to be late and they were so okay with it. When we finally were able to leave and get towed on Sunday, we hurried and dropped the snowboards off as soon as we could. The lady helping us was one I spoke with on the phone and she was amazing! She was understanding, noticed my injured leg, and was making sure I was okay. She showed she was worried about us and she said she could hear the worry in my voice. This place is the best, even when it comes to awful situations. I highly recommend!

First off let me just say I've been visiting snowshoe for years and have purchased numerous pairs of skis for my family here. This last time up I rented equipment for my daughter for 3 days of skiing. Picked up the night before. The next morning we get out to the mountain and her skis don't fit into the bindings. Neither one of them did, too small. I don't know if another pair of boots were sized to the bindings or what; never had this happen before. No ski shop on the mountain would touch them, so it looked like I would have to drive all the way down the mountain to get them fixed. Luckily one shop owner lent me a flat head screwdriver so I could adjust them. I worked at a ski shop during college so I knew what I was doing. Upon bringing the rentals back and telling the employee what happened; all I got was "sorry about that". That's it? Had I not known what I was doing, there's 2-3 hours of the day shot bringing them back down the mountain. Not cool guys.

Pretty easy pickup and drop off. They ran out of my shoe size though so I had to size up which was kind of annoying because I made a reservation.
The guy who helped me was really nice and encouraging since this was my first snowboarding experience.
Would be nice to reserve shoes based on size ?
Had a lot of good options to buy gear, this place is huge and has a second floor and all the big brands

Rented a snowboard and bought all the gear we needed here, everything was reasonably priced. Morgan was a huge help and made the whole experience great for our whole group. The whole staff was super cool and helpful. I will definitely stop in there anytime I'm in Snowshoe.

We have been shopping at this establishment for 40 years. We've had great experiences and ok ones. But nothing to make me stop frequenting this place of business. Recently, I purchased 2 sets of skis, boots, bindings and poles. One boot's latch broke the 2nd day out and their management would not assist with any warranty or servicing the item. They directed me to the boot manufacturer with ownership of the boot being less than 1 year. They had the same boot, same price and same size on their shelves, and refused to any type of exchange or refund even with paying additional monies. Terrible customer service out of the management and I hate to say that I will no longer be a customer with them.

Stopped here for ski rentals, ended up buying much more. Great selection of items and an awesome staff that is very knowledgeable and helpful!

Don’t trust what they say on the phone. Store experience extremely negative. Misinformation given by phone in advance.I was quoted a price and charged more. I was told we could return early and receive credit for the unused time but no refund was given. I was told they had seasonal rentals and they did not. I would not recommend or return to this shop.
