“I grew up in the church. I remember sitting beside my grandmother. She never missed a service unless she was sick. I mean sick. Not a football game, or a excuse that she was tired. See some things grandparents do. They don’t expect anything extra because they are going to church. Yes I have not been there for a while. I live about a 2 hours away. I am sure she would say you better find a church close to my house. The children have grown to be teachers and deacons. They are now doing what they learned from our family. Thank you Oakland Church of God for all those years that I learned to love our Lord.”
