This is the worst retail experience i've ever had. No prices on your items! I don't want to find out how expensive it is when I get to the cash register.

Very, very overpriced. When it's only a 15-minute drive to a dollar store with a lot more to choose from.

We were hoping to do some fill-in grocery shopping here since the next grocery store is 40 minutes away. We were very disappointed by the food selection. 100 types of beer but only 2 aisles of actual food, and most of those were snacks. This is a convenience store despite "grocery" being in the name.
If you're looking for groceries stop somewhere else on your drive into town.
The one thing they do have is medicine/first-aid supplies—pain killers, ace bandages, cold medicine.

Great selection of snacks, beer, and last minute dinner options. They have coffee and filters as well as easy microwaveable breakfast sandwiches.

I don't believe I've ever paid more for a six pack of beer in my life! But it was a great beer and it was local. The sixer and a single baking potato was nearly $21. It was a good potato too. I truly had no intention of buying anything but the beer intrigued me and I needed a potato to make for my pooch. Plus the deer and the two fawns being fed in the parking lot made my day.

People who complain about prices at this store must not have taken any Economics courses. The concept is supply and demand. Anyone failing to plan their food for their vacation up here should be giving themselves one star. Don’t want to haul all that stuff up the mountain? Now you know what this store goes through. Thank goodness they are here and open every day.

Service was great but the pricing was ridiculous! Please make sure you buy all needed items prior to arriving in Snowshoe. The local "market" price gouges beyond belief.

Ridiculous! Almost $4 for a single serving of cereal for the kids. Selection is limited and prices are outrageous. They prey on the captive audience. I finally drove down the hill, 5 miles and tried the mini-IGA only to find the Dollar General had a much better selection and prices. If you have room, a cooler, and the time stop at an actual grocery before coming up here.
