Pioneer Community bank claim to be for the liitle man. I believe that is the worst slogan for this bank. There are too many reasons why this bank isn't providing good quality service to customers. I DO NOT recommend anyone going through this bank. Not even for a couch loan!

Terrible policies make it impossible to do any real banking. The app works about 10% of the time. No ATM deposits. No certified checks without check holder on account. Endorsed and in person consent with photo ID is not enough for this bank. Will be switching won't be going back. Even though chase robbed me at least I could get business done through them.

I started a savings account at this bank in July 2017, as policy I was charged $1.00 to have a PIN number associated with my bank card mailed to my home. After a month of not receiving the PIN number I went to the bank and asked why. The teller was unsure but said she could order me another pin but would have to charge me $1.00. I said fine and thought that would be the end of it. By Sept when I had still not received a PIN number I went back to the bank and got the same answer, no one knew why I hadn't gotten a PIN number but they happily charged me another $1.00 to send out for another one. November rolled around and guess what? Still no PIN number. I went to the bank and closed my account. The teller who closed my account was more than happy to assist me. She never bothered to ask why I was closing my account or if there was any problems that was causing me to close my account. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life!

Extremely unscrupulous people. The bank teller screwed up and then tried to blame her mistake on me. I have never been treated so rudely... by anyone not just a bank, not even in fast food. The drive thru teller miscounted my wife's money, giving us only half of the check we wanted cashed, and when we went into the bank to get an explanation about the missing money, she claimed to have “deposited the other half into my wife's money into her checking account.†If this was the case, she should have given us a deposit slip for the money she put into the checking account AT THE DRIVE THRU. She did not. After 5 minutes of conversing about the situation a deposit slip “magically†appears with the missing money on it saying it's in her bank account. I truly believe they were waiting for us to drive off and then either she (or the bank) intended to keep the money. I wouldn't trust this bank to mange $.02... my wife no longer banks here and the president of the bank is HER COUSIN. Also if you look at the bank and it's other locations - every review they have is 5 stars... You gotta ask yourself, would someone from such an institution rig google reviews to get more business?

Great place to get a loan, most banks around Beckley have outlandish expectations to get loans for folks in this economy, it's nice to have at least one last bank that see's you as a person and not a $ sign

This Bank needs to give the employees a course in customer service. No one in that place knows what is going on ....even the assistant to the loan officer was CLUELESS...and didn't seem to understand why I was annoyed with her reaction!! I will never do business at this facility again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
