I cannot recommend this shop. After repairing damage from hitting a deer, they decided to touch up some paint using a color that was "good enough" but not a match. It was awful looking and the guy refused to stop as I begged him to. A manager had to step in and stop him. On top of that one of the managers (possibly owners) told me they "love when it rains because people wreck and it gives them business". OK, I realize that body work is what keeps you in business but come on! What a terrible attitude.

Worst shop in town. I've been dealing with them for 20 yrs but my last experience was unreal. I got hit and the lady's ins paid 10k for damages. I got my truck back after almost two months and had to zip tie my grille in in their parking lot, yes it was my OWN zip tie. My body lines are destroyed nothing lines up they charged for work they didn't do. I've been fighting them for a year with no avail. They recently told me they would adjust my hood but didn't mention anything else. This was on a 40k 2019 trd tacoma crew cab which has dropped what it's worth by 10k. I'm currently waiting on a detailed estimate so I can file with ins comission and the AG.

Excellent work. I had my front bumper refinished and some pieces replaced and it looks like it’s new and just off the showroom floor. Highly recommended.Service: Body & Trim

THINK TWICE BEFORE SELECTING THIS SHOP. Came to David Smith’s for a simple repaint of my driver door. Probably the simplest paint repair they have ever had to do, but yet they managed to screw up not once but 3 times. The first time I picked it up, they had left overspray/slime all over the entire vehicle. Instead of removing the door and painting it away from the rest of the vehicle, they decided it would be quicker and more cost efficient to leave it on and spray the whole car with protectant. Brought it back for them to remove, was told by Michael that it would take about 1.5hrs. He brought my vehicle back in under 30 minutes. So this was the second time they rushed my vehicle. Came out, felt the hood, it was still rough, so I asked him why. He tried to tell me it’s supposed to feel like that. Keep in mind the vehicle is only 6 months old and is garage kept. After he finally agreed that he “must have missed a spot,” he brought his clay bar out and started rubbing. I made it to the gas station 1/2 a mile up the road when I saw all the scuffs, swirls, and scratches going across my vehicle. Immediately took it back, and Michael tried to say that those marks were on it the first time I brought it in. I reminded him that I have pictures of videos of the vehicle before it came in and after I picked it up the first time. He then changed his tune and said that he would hand polish it out. After going home and thinking, I decided that if a polish was all it would take then I would take it to reputable Detailer in the area. Went back on the day Michael was supposed to polish it to tell him I want half my money back so I can pay the right people to fix their mistakes. This was obviously a no go for him, so I let him talk me into watching him hand polish a small spot on my car so I know he is competent in this area. The spot did look better, so I agreed to bring it in next week for a total polish. TWO DAYS after this, the paint they put on the driver door HAS CHIPPED. It’s truly comical. Congratulations David Smith Frame & Auto!! Half-a jobs result in half-a results!!! Unprofessional, poor customer service, and lack of respect for young women. You should truly be ashamed.Service: Painting
