Had a reservation through Expedia, got here from out of town and they said they had no cars. No one greeted us when we got here. Had to sit for 10 min before we were helped. Urge people not to use them for rental services.

Efficienct, helpful, and professional staff, and a clean location. Booked my rental through Travelocity, but for some reason they couldn't get my phone number to confirm the booking. Everything still went smoothly though.

I paid 243 for 7 more days and took the car back on a Monday they charged me 154 dollars on Tuesday then tried to charge me again for 76 dollars at 10:54 on Thursday night i wouldn't recommend them to anyone

The worst experience I’ve had. Made a reservation four days in advance, just to get there and find out they wouldn’t give me a car since I was doing one way. Which, when I made the reservation I put it was one way and they kept my reservation. I had to cancel my flight, and frantically find something else. Now I’m out a bunch of money, because hertz didn’t do their job. Never again will I rent from hertz.

Customer service is terrible at this location, we walked out after the front desk woman was rude and unprofessional to us. She laughed at us when we asked about renting an electric car and told us “there are no electric vehicles in the state”. Went straight to Enterprise at Joe Holland where we had OUTSTANDING and professional customer service. They also said they DO get electric vehicles they rent out sometimes. Also, we were charged some $25 fee by Hertz even though we walked out and rented nothing from them now having to dispute the charge. Go elsewhere for your rentals.

Get a receipt for every interaction with the staff at this location, otherwise expect to pay thousands in (possibly fraudulent) fees. Go elsewhere. Buyer beware.

The transaction was smooth but apparently you cant park the car in their parking lot that you drove to pick up a rental. So make sure to find a public parking for how long you are gone and be ready to walk about 30 mins if you are going to rent a car at this location. Absolutely horrible. I have never seen a rental place where you cant park your car. Not recommended at least at this location.

I picked up a car Saturday morning, and immediately after pulling off the lot, I noticed something wrong with the vehicle. I turned around and talked to the representative there. I was given a maintenance voucher to use at their local repair facility as they didn't have a replacement. Hertz would not approve the repairs, and I spent all day from 9:50 am at the repair facility to closing around 6 pm waiting and trying to get a replacement or to talk to someone at Hertz corporate. I eventually got ahold of a human who told me it would be three hours before they could get a tow truck there, and they wanted me to go to Lexington, KY, from Charleston, WV, to get the replacement. They did nothing to help me and left me stranded. The only phone call I got this Monday was saying my reservation cancelation went through and nothing else. They didn't offer to refund the day for the broken vehicle. They didn't offer any apologies. They didn't care.
Edit: (5/13) I had to contact the local business again as I got an email saying my reservation was extended. They had no idea the car had been picked up; they were asking me where it was. They don't talk with their corporate counterparts. They acted like it was my fault and again no apologies.

Not located at the airport (CRW) this added $100 in UBER costs to get from the airport to the rental, gas tank was not full, tires only had 1/16" usable tread, staff was very nice

My friend needed to get repair estimates and after being to two other dealers Lester Rains Was the friendliest and best priced of all 3. They are in the same building as hurtz.
