Convenient for area residents. They have worked alot to make the store alot cleaner, and the produce has taken a turn for the better. Just wish they kept more Hawaiin bagels on the shelf lol.

I love this store. Everyone is polite and very helpful. I've lived here for eighteen years. I've always shopped at Kroger's. I refuse to grocery shop at Walmart. They cause the shut down of local shopping centers and then they dip one day. We have other grocery stores but I prefer Kroger's and will always shop here. I'm pretty sure they all recognize me. Lol I know I bother them with my late trips. I walk in thirty minutes before closing but always out the door before time. I figure I stress them out. I appreciate you guys!

I always love Krogers, although this store isn't as good as it used to be. Maybe they're having staffing issues or something. But the service has definitely downgraded over the years.

Plenty of staff...they just always seem to be on break, which they take in the middle of the entrance/exit.

They made it so you can't mute the voice on the self-checkout registers, so they talk constantly while you to to check out and your options are "loud" or "louder"Probably best you shop somewhere else. I know I will be.

Kroger is a good place to shop. Usually clean. Friendly staff. Cheap products. You can earn points for gas too.

Very nice grocery and supply Kroger! Gasoline pumps as well! Fresh baked goods in bakery. Excellent cuts of proteins. Nice deli area. Floral area. Fresh produce and fruit. Wine and Beer aisle. Very clean inside and out. Close to route 60 that takes you to interstate ramps. Local park across the street

My mom shopped there earlier this evening and went through a self checkout and purchased a few things for the house. Well after she comes out the door, one of the self checkout employees came out and tried to accuse her of stealing. She asked for her receipt but my mom bring older doesn't usually grab receipts for grocery stores, but she explained they could go rewatch the camera to see she paid and the woman said that would take too long and she went through the trashcan for like ten seconds claiming she couldn't find it. My mom just left the stuff she had JUST PURCHASED at the store and left because of the embarrassment. They need to train their staff better and if she would have stole her stuff, the alarms would have went off as she was leaving the store but they didn't. My mom was crying and feeling embarrassed and humiliated from this incident. We have shopped there since I was a kid but I told my mom after that, it's done spending our money there

The Saint Albans Krogers is the worst! They are constantly running out of stock and when they do run out of something it seems like it takes them forever to get more stock in. The staff is rude more often than not. They usually only have one side of the self check out open and no more than one register open no matter how busy they are and if you ever have to go to the customer service desk may god have mercy on your soul. The employees will completely ignore you. No one will even acknowledge that you're standing there not even a someone will be with you shortly or anything and the sign hanging up at the service desk says that it opens at 8am and they would tell me that it doesnt open until 9 as im pointing out to them that their own sign says 8 only to have the employee scough at me. Unfortunately they are the only actual grocery store other than IGA in saint albans. How i wish they would bring back the save-a-lot or the fastcheck. Kroger is part of the axis of evil

Employees are always rude and never helpful, if you ask for help they ignore you or give the answers of I don’t know, it’s worse at the self check out that you pretty much have no other choice to use because there is never an actual lane open and if there is it’s only one and the line is always backed up. Not like that would even make a difference because out of the three employees I have ever seen running those lanes two of them are ALWAYS rude and make you feel like your inconveniencing them, the little old lady is the only friendly person I have ever encountered in this place, I really wish I knew her name to give her the credit she deserves. I guess they can’t take the time to train anyone at the self checkout properly, at this point I’m sure if they could be trained in decent courtesy and manners at the least then that would be better than nothing, it’s one thing to get an employee that can’t help with a situation but it’s another to get one that is rude as well. I usually find myself at this Kroger because it is the closes to my house when I’m in a hurry but I ALWAYS regret it. I would rather make the trip to Teays Vally Kroger or Walmart from now on. Nothing ever rings up correctly or they never have any of the sale items in stock during the sale days, how convenient, and forget about asking for the Kroger rain check because no one in this place knows what that is or how to help with it anyway.

Food prices are rediculous and then some. One cashier and hardly ever anyone at customer service desk.
