We ordered a hot water heater online and needed delivery and installation. My husband called after the online order to confirm installation and was assured it would be installed. At the time of delivery we received a call that the driver couldn't find our home and the delivery was being pushed back until the evening. Shortly after, we received another call stating the driver was in the area but there would be no installation because he was a door dash driver. After he dragged the new water heater up the steps it was left in the doorway. I called the store again and was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and finally had to hang up and call back. When I finally spoke to a manager I was informed that they could have an installer call us to make an appointment. Not sure what the mix up is within the store but we were absolutely misinformed and would have made a different choice had we known the issue wouldn't be fixed right away. Super disappointed in this experience.

I’m from out of town (WA State) visiting my mother-in-law in West Virginia for Christmas. There are always a few home improvements/repairs needing attention when we come to visit. In this case a kitchen cabinet needed attention, a faulty shelf bracket was the culprit. Lowe’s (Summersville W VA) to the rescue. At Lowe’s there is no end of cabinet hardware but where is the little part I need?Enter Jeff Nichols, assistant manager. Jeff took the time to walk me to the specific, aisle, bay and drawer. Not only that, he knew that this part might not be a perfect replacement but could possibly do the job with a minor modification. Beck at grandma’s house the repair was made and now the shelf stays put.I was very fortunate to encounter some one with such in-depth knowledge of the store’s inventory, and bonus points to deal with Jeff who obviously understands the true meaning of customer service. Lowe’s is in good hands with Jeff on staff.

We’re currently getting our bathroom redone and Jason Lay helped us the entire time. He shopped with us to find exactly what we wanted and needed, he gave us good opinions and overall was extremely nice about everything. He definitely deserves a raise!

Things out of stock...picked up complete shower kit, had to return 2 out of 3 pieces, broken pan & walls..lady at customer service very rude, not helpful..went to pro desk & got better help. Had to then drive to Lewisburg to pick up needed section. Summersville customer service didnt offer any help or really any concern for our situation. They are not looking out for the customer. Very disappointed. Shameful Lowes..Had to go to Lowes today for supplies.. met Josh in plumbing.. AWESOME young man. Definitely gave Lowes a huge bump up with customer service. He is about the customer. KUDOS JOSH..

It's the only big box hardware for 100 miles around. Not much to say about a corporate store. Visit the local owned hardware in Summersville for better service.

High prices as with bout everywhere. Wife got shorted some lumber on a delivery but and when she called back to tell the lumber department they got hateful and very unprofessional with the complaint. We made an appearance at the store and behaviors changed and someone finally straightened out the problem and helped us out and problem got resolved.

Very disappointed that Lowes has begun pushing self check out. For a store and company this size , it's sad that they feel no longer the need to run registers.Also, very few staff to help answer questions, or find an item.

Staff clearly didn't know where things were. Ended up walking in circles. Asked multiple employees for assistance finding our items to be told we could diy itIf I wanted to build it myself I didn't need instructions.I'll avoid this store until they get it together. I'm guessing I'll be waiting awhile.
