Dog got spayed, care was taken and dog is in awesome shape, happy and healthy and minimum downtime. Great crew working there. Need more receptionists for the amount of business they do. Waiting line is always very lengthy.

To start, my dog has seizures and one day had one that was really bad. Afterwards, he was limping and not putting weight on his foot. The dr at the vet looked at it and decided, without any X-rays, that it was a torn ccl, and booked surgery. A torn CCL is not only an expensive surgery, but an extremely long recovery for my baby. After a few days he was walking fine, so I took him for a second opinion. Low and behold, he was fine, and Nicholas county animal hospital was going to do a costly and unnecessary surgery on my dog.Second, my boy was taking CBD oil for his seizures. One day I pick it up, and when I go to give it to him, it’s red. I look and it says CBG, exact same bottle, just different oil. So when I call, the girl argues with me that they have ONLY carried the CBG and ONLY have CBD treats. I know what I gave my dog for well over a year. She tells me it’s stronger but does the same. So I use it as I did with the CBD like she suggested. My dog was sleeping 24/7, you know why? Cause it was DOUBLE the dose of before. This took me a little while to figure out. When I try to get my dogs refills for his prescription, they never respond to my pharmacist. Here I am, 4 days after requesting a refill, only to be calling them myself because now my boy is out of medicine completely.I would highly recommend taking your pets ANYWHERE BUT this place.

I had to take my 2 dogs and cat down today for their rabies boosters. They were VERY busy, but we were in and out in under 20 minutes! The vet techs came out to the car to vaccinate the dogs, and even gave my old girl (16 year old terrier mix) her shot in the car as it is hard for her to get in and out. They were just great!

Did not make it past the front desk. She had i am better than you attitude. Would NOT even set up appointment to come back. Went to Fayitville and it was worth the drive very nice, caring and respectful team members.Never want to go back to Summersville Vet.

I use to love Nicholas animal hospital. However the service just isn't that great anymore. Takes forever to be seen. Some of the staff act like it's an inconvenience to help you. The hours that they actually see patients is limited and heaven for bid if you have an emergency after hours or on the weekends anymore. You might as well just put your pet out of their misery your self.

We happen to have a kitten that got into the engine compartment of our car. It was in there for 2 1/2 hours and then heard it when we stopped driving. We were around the corner from their office, and we know one of the Vet Techs. We took the kitten right over, and they took her in for an exam, testing and vaccination right away. We were very pleased with the service and the kitten was fine.

I'm surprised they don't administer shots when they get animals in instead of waiting until they are adopted. All of the shelters I've know do that. The other I know spay or neuter animals of age soon after they arrive.

So impressed! We couldn't make an appointment, but took advantage of their Walk In hours. Since we travel full-time, finding a vet can be difficult. Doc was amazing! Staff very friendly. Quite affordable. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Because my Phsycietrest really cares about how I’m feeling if I tell her that I’m not feeling good she helps me a lot I don’t even have to ask her for help she jumps right in there and tries to help me figure out what is wrong with me

Dr. Blackwell took his time examining my bulldog, explained everything he was doing and then explained everything that could be done. I have had great experiences with both Dr. Blackwell and Dr. Gragg. I really appreciate the work they do

Had to take my Luna baby to the dr over her foot as she was acting as if she couldn't walk on it. She is a 8 month old pit this was her first vet visit (I'm behind I kno shame on me) so I was a bit nervous although she is a love bug but she was absolutely amazing! They had to take her blood, give her shots, make her stay still for time while test was run ect and they had her feeling almost completely comfortable. They where amazing! Ty
