The manager there made it a high rating the poor woman was so busy and short staffed I felt bad for her. The salads were great the burger was great along with the onion rings. My wife's pork chop was burned but she didn't charge us for it. She was very kind I do plan on going back there everyone has bad days and her service

I stopped by the BrAXton Bistro this evening (11 December 2024), arriving somewhen around 4:45pm. I was the only customer at that time.
I was quickly seated, provided a menu, and my drink arrived quickly. The food was excellent. Exactly how it has been many times.
But it was the moment I finished my meal that the service took a sharp nose-dive.
The entire time I was there, the server sat at a table at the opposite end of the dining room that was close to the register.
Within seconds of finishing my meal, the server was at my table asking if I wanted dessert and proceeded to bus the table while I was still sitting at it. She even took the small tray with napkins, and the tables there do not have their own napkin dispensers. Then, she proceeded to stand at the register.
To me, the message was clear. You've eaten; now, pay and get out.
If I had been there during a rush time with most of the tables full and potential customers still coming in, I myself would've hustled right out. But in all the times I've visited the establishment, there have never been more that four out of the ten or twelve tables full.
As of this writing, I cannot honestly claim that I will go back.

We on a whim stopped in for dinner and had the best experience! Service was great...Tyler and Autumn treated us like family.
The food was fresh...delicious...and came out quick. Definitely recommend the salmon...or fettuccine Alfredo.
We'll be driving the hour to come back! Thanks!

Finally had chance to drop in for a late lunch while passing by. Easy on off highway and close to Monster Museum to make it a destination trip. Service was prompt and friendly with good recommendations. Ordered the garlic / parm wings which were honestly some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Wings were good sized, cooked perfectly with a nice crispy skin and just right amount of garlic parm. Others in party enjoyed a basic cheeseburger and a Reuben. Everyone was pleased with their choices.
Finish it off with a milkshake....you won't regret it

Parking: Lots of parking places close to the Bistro
Kid-friendliness: Yes you see kids in there frequently
Wheelchair accessibility: There are some ramps to use to enter the Bistro

Awesome small business. They have Gluten free pasta but was out of stock when I went. That's fine by me. Axe throwing and good food for a reasonable price.

If you're rolling through Sutton, WV, and in need of a bite before chasing down the Flatwoods Monster or catching a glimpse of Bigfoot, Braxton Bistro is the spot to hit! Let me start with the burger—juicy, perfectly cooked, and loaded with flavor. It’s everything you could want in a classic burger. But the real showstopper? The bruschetta. I’m not sure what magic they’re working in the kitchen, but that dressing they drizzle over it? Chef’s kiss. I could eat it every day and still dream about it.
On top of the food, the Bistro’s got something for everyone—an arcade where you can play board games while looking out onto the street, plus axe throwing for those feeling a bit more adventurous! The decor gives off cozy, cool vibes, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
If you're planning on checking out the Flatwoods Monster Museum or Bigfoot Museum, trust me, you'll want to refuel here first. Best place in town to grab a bite before an adventure. Can’t wait to come back!

I ordered two Reuben sandwiches today from my car. The lady came out and got my credit card, ran it and brought it back to me. She delivered my food to the car. I am physically impaired so was so very grateful for the wonderful service and the sandwich was delicious. Kudos to her for being so kind.

The atmosphere is very cool. It has an axe throwing section, as well as a few arcade games with a couch. The food was just okay. I got the loaded nachos and it tasted as you’d expect if you made it all at home. The fried ravioli was also just okay and had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste. Thankfully it wasn’t too pricey and the overall atmosphere makes up for it.

Wonderful place! Food was amazing! Server very nice! Love little places that are in older buildings, so much character! A+. Really guys stop in and get a Reuben! One of the best we’ve ever had!
